Solid top, 17-inch full size guitar with rich and clean sounds. Unique non-gloss finish and a decorated head stock, rosewood bridge and tailpiece are the clever mixture of innovation and tradition in jazz guitars. It has warm and loud acoustic sounds when unplugged and soft yet vivid tones when amplified, especially at middle and high positions. It is a real jazz box you can be proud of.

Sound : 10
I play mostly jazz, and this guitar gives a beautiful mellow acoustic sound (has a louder acoustic sound then most acoustic guitars). every note on every position of the neck has equal attack and definition, absolutely a pleasure. i compared it at a store with a gibson es-175 and a es-137 custom....well..the peerless came in first without any doubt, when i told the salesman of the store what i had paid for the jazz city he couldn't believe it, for the price of the gibson es-175 (3500 ???) you could buy like 3 great peerless guitars with deluxe hardshell cases. so that's why i give it a solid 10!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Out of the box it was almost perfect, the strings were a bit high but that is something personal i guess. the gotoh tuners are amazing, when i got the guitar i tuned it once in the afternoon and when went to play it on a gig at night it was still perfectly tuned, believe me this guitar stays in tune, great action plays like butter and the people at peerless really put a lot of love in there instruments 'cause the finish is simply amazing. Thanks Peerless!

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 17 years now, i've have and had loads of guitars and amps from gibson to fender, ibanez guild, martin, mesa boogie, etc. but fot the last 11 years i've been using my alltime favourite jazz box; a ARIA PRO HERB ELLIS SIGNATURE build by master luthier JAMES D'AQUISTO, one of the last guitars he build before his death in 1995, an absolute masterpiece..Thanks Mr D'Aquisto, and rest in peace. as for amps i'm totally addicted to my JAZZKAT AMP, 110 watts of pure warm sound with a whole lotta soul.
