Hollow archtop, double cutaway with 2 P90s. Direct copy of the Epiphone Casino/Gibson 330. Bought new in 2008. only basic basic bag but a bargain price of 299 GBP. A vintage 330 would cost ten times as much I wouldn't expect a better guitar (apart from the factory pickups - see below).

This has a great sound acoustically but the P90s didn't provide a vintage tone - they were too hot and the bridge pickup was too muddy (apparently this is a common problem with the Epiphones too). I have since had the pickups rewound by Bare Knuckles in the UK (new alnico magnets and underwound to get the tone). So 7 when I bought it and 10- since the rewinds.

The guitar sounds excellent!! I play a funky/jazzy brand of rock (visit sikofunk.com) and it works very well. I am running it though a Peavey Classic 30 and a Fender Super-Sonic. I try to dial in something Jeff Tamelierand John Scofield could agree on.This guitar gets me a variety of tones ranging from: a sharp attack funk tone to a warm full bodied jazz tone. And it plays like a dream.

I picked this one up at Namm from the Peerless booth. And they had all their guitars dialed in. These guitars were playing themselves! NO FLAWS!!

I have only had it for a few weeks, but I have already giged with it. It handled the situation nicely. And I recieved compliments on it's sound. Very dependable guitar. I would (and have)play shows without a backup.

I met some of the Peerless team at Namm. They put up with me jamming on their guitars for hours. They had nothing but smiles for me. I haven't had to get any work done to it. But a week after I go it, they emailed me and asked if I was enjoying the guitar. Excellent customer service.

I have been playing for 10 years now. I've worked in music stores. And I hve been teaching guitar for 5 years. And my Peerless Songbird will never leave my collection. I take it hands down over any Ibanez or Epiphone jazz guitars.
