Bought in May 1976 at Music City, 1725 Chestnut, Phila., $195+tax. Bought cardboard case in June for 18+tax
20-frets, Maple? (don't know woods)
REALLY like nice thin neck.

Sound deep and rich. Highs only when strings are new. My style is folk-picking/(Peidmont?) Running bass with thumb really adds depth to group playing/singing.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action sort of high, somewhat difficult to play compared to others. Wears out my hands after an hour or two.
Finish fine - all dings due to yours truly.
Bridge cracked horizontally through holes, but I've always used heavier strings.

Pretty sturdy. 26 years of service so far.

Again, I really love the deep rich sound. My body is used to holding the jumbo (It's a love affair) and smaller guitars just don't feel right. Also the thin neck compares well with other guitars I try. Wish the action wasn't so high and it was easier to play. May buy another jumbo some day if I find similar tone, but easier to play, but would not sell this one. I thought this was a copy of a Gibson J-200...Is it? Email me if you have any info.
