Bought originally by my cousin 1975, I "stole" it from him in 1976, and have played it nearly every day ever since. It has a maple back and sides with a spruce top, with a "0" fret in the rosewood fingerboard and just recently new Gotoh 14:1 heads. This guitar has an unbelievable tone with a wonderful brightness that is unmatched in a guitar from its era or price range and the action on it is better than any other 12-string I have encountered in the past 30 years. At 30 years old (this year) - it looks and sounds better than the day I bought it.

Made in Japan. 14 frets. No pickups. Open tuners. Purchased at a pawn shop.

Sound : No Opinion
I bought it for my nephew to use. He passed away last yr & it's been hanging in garage nearly a year. It is so solid! Like a Sherman tank. It has several boo boos on it. Has a rich sound even with old strings. Has a vibration when 3rd string is played but I think I can adjust it out.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
New, I think I would have been thrilled to have this 12 string A-22-M. I'm considering using it instead of my 12 string fender. I don't know enough about action nor fit, but the finish has more than survived my nephew! :-)

Reliability/Durability : 7
I would use this guitar on a gig without a backup easy. Good finish, strap buttons, hardware so far. Time will tell as I use it more. Will be putting new strings on this week.

Have not found the company. Inside the guitar is Philedalphia Music Company, Inc.

Been playing for 40 yrs. I use a Gibson acoustic, Roland keyboard, accordian, harmonica, tambourine, and wash board along with the Fender 12 String. Play in churches, sr centers, etc. I play to sing & yodel!

Appears to be made in 70's(unsure, just going on what others have posted)
22 frets, Maple top, appears to have maple sides/back also?
Rosewood fingerboard, maple neck.
String-thru bridge, non-enclosed tuners. Strap.

Sound : 8
full, mellow sound. Good tone. Pretty good for a beat-up travel guitar!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
good action, doesn't appear to have any gaps or major flaws to be seen

Reliability/Durability : 7
This thing is a tank. I'm an awful player, and in the hands of someone with skill it's sounds pretty good. I'm impressed, since it's supposed to be a cheap knockoff?

Customer Support : No Opinion
Understand that the company is out of business now

Overall Rating : 8
Playing for a little more than 3 years. Have a washburn d12s as my other guitar, and this is my 12 string.
Its been given by a friend, so I would never get rid of it. It sounds great anyway!

I'd really like to get more info on this guitar since I've been asked about it and I can't tell them anything!
