Features : 10
european spruce top with the finest grain I have ever seen on a guitar, solid indian rosewood sides and back all matched, ebony fretboad, cedar neck classical Spanish construction. They are handmade in a factory. Tuners are gold and well made.

Sound : 10
incredible bass, sounds better than some 4,000 classicals

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
great setup, flawless finish, the most beautiful classic I have ever seen. The early 28's had a plastic nut and saddle but they are now made with bone. Also most 28's now have a cedar top.

Reliability/Durability : 9
well made guitar

Customer Support : 10
local shop was great

Had a Guild mark II for 27 years that my guitar teacher told me to get. My guitar teacher who knew Sergovia and was a pro jazz guitarist told me when I got my Guild, to upgrade from the Guild would cost thousands. When I finaly did compare the Guild to another guitar the first guitar I tried blew it away. It wasn't even close. The guitar I tried was the Prudentio Saez 28. It turned out it was the only guitar I found much better than my Guild including some of the student Ramerez guitars. The Guild was almost as good as a $4,000 guitar. The Saez bass is incredible, the mids powerful and the high strings bright. I have played briefly a brand new Hauser, they go for about $15,000, and played a couple times a Monch which is considered almost as good as a Hauser. The Saez comes close. Real close.

Standard configured Spanish classical guitar as described by
previous reviewer. Spruce top (can probably get in Cedar top),
solid rosewood back/sides. Ebony reinforced cedar neck. Nice
tuners. Plastic nut and saddle. Purchased with hardshell case.

Sound : 10
Guitar has very good bass, treble, midrange response. Analagous
to high-end stereo speakers at a budget price. I would think any guitarist could give a concert with this guitar
and certainly could use it as a respectable backup to their Hauser, Ruck, or Ramirez 1A. I am far from a concert guitarist but
appreciate great sound as much as anyone and this guitar has it.
Volume of the guitar is more than adequate and the top seems to
vibrate with rich harmonics and just definitely is a rush to
play this guitar!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Pefectly adjusted at factory with 3.25mm 12th fret low E and
3.00mm 12th fret high E. Finish not overly thick. An appearance
of 1st class craftsmanship with precision fret work, glued struts
etc...
A minor quibble - was not impressed with the cheazoid
plastic saddle and bone. Fret work is among best I have seen for
factory guitar in this price range. Frets were not sticking out
and just feels "nice" playing the guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Classical guitars are inherently fragile, but this baby is as solid
as competing guitars.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Been playing many years.
Own various electrics and an Esteve cedar guitar, so now have
both cedar and spruce - ying and yang kind of thing....
If it were stolen, would purchase the same exact guitar again.
Compared this guitar to many factory brands and thought it was
the best guitar I could find in my city for the price and probably
way beyond the price. But, when one is buying a guitar, disregard
the price and brand, go to as many stores as you can, take your time
and pick out the guitar as you would a lover!

This is a Flamenco style Spanish guitar made of all solid wood in Valencia Spain. The top is solid spruce with very tight grain and the sides and back are solid rosewood. Scale lenth and neck width at the nut are standard classical. The fretboard is ebony and the bridge is rosewood. There are no electronics and none are needed. The finish is lacquer. The tuners are gold, top quality, none the less smooth operating and very nice looking and keep the instrument in tune. The neck is cedar with an ebony rod installed for stability.

Well, that's why I decided to buy this gUitar. I bought earlier another model (6a) that has a solid top abd Cypres back and sides.
I tried another model (132), and I found that I couldn't get anything batter for the money. The volume of this guitar is very, very loud and well balanced, with great projection and sustain. The Prudencio Saez was priced well below others famous classic guitars that I tryed, and the sound was the same, for me evem better than some.
I agree with other review here that we have to go up in price above the Prudencio Saez over a thousand dollars to get comparable sound and workmanship. I asked the factory to build this particular guitar for me, since I have a friend that lives close to Valencia, and she brought me this guitar to Brazil

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was just a little bit high for me and I had to lower it, but there are no extraneous noises or buzz at all. The finish is the simply the best I have seen on any classical guitar, period.
I have owned many other guitars over the last forty years. There is not a single blemish of any kind anywhere on this guitar. Other manufactures could use these guitars as a standard to be followed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar does appear to be tough. There is a reinforcement rod in the neck made of ebony and I expect this instrument to last with proper care. I've been playing it for about 4 years and still looks like brand new.

Customer Support : 10
This guitar came with the warranty papers, but I don't expect I could get any repairs made without contacting the manufacturer in Spain at my own expense. I exchanged many mails with the company, end they were
very friendly and build the guitar well over my best expectations.

Like I said, I've been playing for a long time, and if I loose or have it stolen, I would try hard to buy another one. What I really loved was both the appearence and THE sound. You don't have to spend a grand or two on a guitar from famous brands like Ramirez, Contreras, etc, to have a great instrument. If you find a guitar of this Luthier, give it a try. I will ensure you that this is the kind of guitar that is hard to stop to play.
