I have had this guitar for over 20 years and it is still miles ahead of anything you can buy from any custom manufacturer out here today.

Bruce is the kind of guy any of you out there would love to have as a friend. Sure he was a working stiff lke you and me and put in endless hours to his craft. The thing Bruce was missing were professionals around him to get the financing like Parker, Floyd Rose, Jacklson. I witnessed over 2 years some of the industries top musician bring in 'sacred' signature guitars fro Bruce to fix on the spot. Yes he cared about the quality of his work but when you are literally single threaded you create problems for your growing business. Still, no one to this day can convince me that his commitment to his art was admirable.

Go out and find some 'CUSTOM' for 2000-3000 that will be of the quality of the 'Rarebird' name.

I own Three Rarbird Guitars. They are all made here in Denver. I also own a Les Paul, SG and a Fender which I also like, but Obviously not as much as the Rarebird's! My first guitar was made back in 79? 80? it has been the one I play the most and Love it! The controlled sustain I get when I play is Great! Bruce gets a good solid tone because he uses dowels to connect the body to the neck. It has one pickup, one knob, six strings and one locking Kahler tremelo and what ever the usual number of frets and it is made out of Ash(it is lighter than most others and I want to have fun when I am playing). I guess if I had to say one thing bad about Rarebirds is that Bruce cannot make them Fast enough! I would rather be playing my Rarebirds than talking about them! SO go Buy one and see for yourself what I am talking about!
