This is what I was told was a RM-10 model Sculptured strat style guitar with what looks to be a medium-thin Maple w/rosewood 24 fret bolt on neck, and a basswood body. I am not completely sure if this is the correct model, because I went to their homepage(http://www.ravenguitar.com) and could find no listing for it, I payed about a hundred bucks for it, it has two single coil pickups with a humbucker in the bridge, one volume, and one tone knob, a 5-way selector switch, and a cheap no-name tremolo(the type that every Squier/Peavey Predator/every kind of guitar you can buy that's about a hundred bucks) it has a beautiful Dark blue stain covered with a clearcoat, and it plays suprisingly well, considering the guitars that are usually thrown into it's price range.
the pickups are no-name factory produced, but they sound very, very nice(extremely clear and very glassy tones, not a lot of bass, but I'm not really into that muddy 3 humbuckers so the sound is so distorted I can't even tell what I'm playing kind of performance) the humbucker in the bridge is actually very nice(needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, I thought I was gonna have to replace all the pickups, but instead it looks like I'll only have to replace the single-coils)Bottom line: Great finish, the neck is decent(although they could have gone with bigger frets) decent sound for a factory setup, and despite the obvious low-cost, the trem plays amazingly well(in fact I've played FR's that sucked worse). Basically if you don't have the cash to spring for An expensive american guitar that was probably made overseas anyway, then spare the hundred or so that it costs for this Korean made guitar, and you'll be not only happy with the guitar, but a little surprised by it.

this is an all-around strat design it sounds and plays very well, all things considered.it's not noisy at all, very bright tones, not a lot of bottom end.basically I got what i paid for, and I'm satisfied. This is a classic rock style guitar(NOT!, I repeat NOT! grungy/death/core/industrial/heavy metal. played it through about six amps: A little squier 15 watt, A peavey 50 watt, A little peavey 20 watt, A fender twin reverb, A carvin Bass amp(don't ask, I just did), and a Hartke 350 head with a peavey 2-15in. Speaker cab.
Action, Fit, & Finish

the action was perfect, I have'nt even adjusted it it was fine right out of the box, the pickups were geared a little more towards the bottom end so that the sound was evened out a bit.the top was fine and the bridge fits like a glove. Honestly the only flaw that stood out to me was the pickups they sound fine, but if they put some better ones in, they could charge probably triple what they did, and get away with it scott-free.

it's a nice guitar, but I think it's aimed more at the entry-level musician. Yes I think if properly setup it would do well for gigs. but I don't think any guitarist in their right mind would ever do a gig without a backup.the finish is excellent.the straplocks are concrete pretty much. It's dependable as long as you treat it well.
