How does it suit your music style (and what is that style)? Blues, does just fine. I played mostly strat until now.
What amps and effects are you using it with? Fender Vibroverb.
Is it noisy? On what settings? No noise!
Rich/Full sound? Bright sound? Humbuckers are deep rich low end. Bridge pickup adds enough brightness to cut through mix.
What kind of sounds can the guitar make? Very typical LP sounds. How much variety? Has distinct tones from bright to bassy or set in middle for midrange. Not as bright as P-90 or single coils from my strat.
Likes and dislikes? No noise more power not used to humbucker tones so it just is a different tone.

How well was the guitar set-up at the factory? (How was the action?) They set it up just perfect. I am very happy, fast low action.
How well were the pickups adjusted? I might raise them later for more volume.
Properly bookmatched top? Beautiful job!!! Properly routed bridge? Yes.
Did the guitar contain any flaws? (misaligned bracing, poorly filed fretwire, finish flaws, poor quality wood, rusted or oxidized hardware, loose tuning pegs, poorly cut nut, poorly fit saddle, noisy pickup selector, loose controls, etc...) It arrived in perfect condition.

Will this guitar withstand live playing? Time will tell!!
Does the hardware seem like it will last? Yes.
Is the finish good enough to last, or does it seem thin and easy to wear off with lots of playing? Looks great.
Are the strap buttons solid? Oh yeah.
Can you depend on it? Yes.
Would you use it on a gig without a backup? Yes.

Ever try and get it repaired? No Was it under warranty
How long is the warranty Limited lifetime (I read it & can't beat it)
If you've dealt with the company, how helpful/friendly were they? I e-mailed the store three times and Eric Berquist responded immediately. He seemed very friendly and positive. The company is located in Temple City Calif.

How long have you been playing? 30 years. What other gear do you own? Two Agile strats, Agile LP copy Dual cutaway w/P-90's, Agile LP Special TV yellow.
Is there something you wish you had asked before buying this guitar? I should have asked for a case.
If it were stolen or lost, would you buy it again or get something else? This guitar I would definitely buy again.
What do you love about it? Action, design, manufacture, it's solid. What do you hate? I am going to replace the nut with a bone nut. What is your favorite feature?
Did you compare it to other guitars? Yes Which ones? The Agile LP double cutaway. Why did you choose this one? The top is quilted and the price is better.
Anything you wish it had? A bone, corian or graphite nut.
Anything else you'd like to share? I've frequented many guitar shops in my 30 playing years. This guitar is outstandingly beautiful and plays wonderful. The Gibson dual cutaway LP starts at $1,670. The agile copy is about $400+ Tribal Blue 3000 model. I bought this based on Feedback of other Raven West Guitars and the description and pictures I saw on the internet. I was hoping it would live up to the reputation of the company and the other guitars they sell. It surpassed my expectations. I bought a used Mexican Tele on the web recently it was so bad and the sellers (a pawn shop) were worst. This is one of those guitars and companies that will make you happy again that you are getting a good deal on the web. Raven West if you are reading this thanks for a great guitar and restoring my faith and confidence in web dealers.

The guitar is an RG2000 STR Quilt, made in Korea. Please go the
Ravenwest Guitar site and it will provide you with all the information needed to be known on the RG2000. I just recieved the guitar and I just want to provide some quick feedback.
The RG2000 arrived in great shape, nothing I can find at this time. It's one beautiful guitar.
I will give a more detailed review later.

I'm mostly a Blues and Jazz player. Good stock pick-ups, so I will not change them.I will be putting new strings on shortly so I expect a change in tone.
I'm very happy with the tone, but I still need to put the guitar through it's paces.

The action is fine, I don't hear or feel a problem. I'm sure that I will have it set-up in the future, but at this time it's great.

I don't play live, but yes it can withstand live playing. All parts work fine and do what they should.I don't anticipate any problems. I may have to cut the nut a little wider. I use 10's and the current strings don't feel like 10's, but cutting a nut is not rocket science.
