New model. Double cutaway solid Korina body and set neck. 22 very smooth frets I would call medium on a rosewood fretboard. Dual humbuckers, one volume, tone and bass contour that is very useful. Beautiful high gloss wine red finish. I got the Les trem which is a nice sturdy tremelo unit that I find myself using a lot. All the Reverend reviews are glowing and this one is no exception. Wilkinson simple locking tuners (two hole posts). Graphite nut, the works. Despite the 24.75 scale, this guitar is deceptively big/long. It is almost neck heavy, but a wide strap makes that go away. TKL Hard case is just OK.

Sound : 10
This guitar can be smooth as silk or sharp as an ax. Pickups are very responsive through a Peavy Memphis Blues tube amp. Bass contour is almost a secondary volume, roll off for clarity and sweetness, on for boost and guts. Very cool. This is one of the best playing guitars I've owned, and I have been through and have many.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This is where Reverends always shines. The finish, fit, fretwork; everything is very nice. You always have to work on your setup to get your sound and your action, but it was quick and easy. Just perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Finish is so shiny it scratches easy. Use a new cloth. Other than that, it's very sturdy, stays in tune. You can play hard to no detriment. Les Trem is also stong and adjustable (comes with 3 different springs for tension). One thing I don't like is the roller bridge. Some sitar like sounds are present as the stings that are not wound do not sit tight (play) so I put the standard tune-o -matic back and it works fine. It's also somewhat clearer and brighter with the stock bridge.

Dealer Bigkat Music out of Louisiana is great. Lifetime warranty that I doubt will be needed.

Overall Rating : 10
Reverend guitars seem to be in a class by themselves. They have their own sound, but can sound like others too. I do wish it had two volume controls. I don't use the regular tone control as the bass contour is powerful and very useful. I might buy another Reverend because they are such nice guitars.

22 (VERY smooth) medium frets; HH, set neck; double cutaway (SG style) solid Korina body and neck, rosewood fretboard, one volume, tone and bass contour which seems more like a coil tap/boost. Les trem vibrato that is very cool, locking tuners, graphite nut, 3 way switch. Butter smooth wine red finish that is as good or better than a LP Deluxe I owned once. Simply... beautiful.

Sound : 10
Hmmn, if you've read other reviews of Reverend guitars (and I bought this on that alone) then you should know the truth. These guitars stand alone. It can be bright, or smooth and full, loud and broken up or Tele quacky or whatever you want. No Strat 2 & 4 sounds, but that's what a Strat is for. I have a Powerhouse Strat that I built and this guitar is very similar to it, only more humbucker oriented of course. It sounds great. The pickups are strong but still sweet. Excellent.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Everyone like their own set up, and so do I. You can get extremely close action. The Les Trem unit is very cool and infinitely useable. Stock, this guitar comes with features that we nit pickers usually have to install at additional cost later. Graphite nut, perfectly cut and sized. Locking tuners, burled Chrome knobs. This will not need any mods. Finish is all but flawless. I found one spot on the tip of the lower horn where the paint was not quite as thick. Whoop-tee doo. Who cares!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Time will tell this. It seems very sturdy. It is just slightly neck heavy, but a wide shoulder strap keeps it upright.

Ebay dealer bigkat music store out of Louisiana. A+ communication, price and service. I think the warranty is lifetime, but I can fix almost anything anyway.

Overall Rating : 10
I played a Parkwood hybrid and an Ovation STX hybrid just for giggles. Those guitars don't even come close and are more expensive. I bought the Daredevil sight unseen except for one simple picture and reputation. This is hands down one of the best guitars I've ever seen or played. The only thing I can think of that comes close is a friend's '54 custom shop Strat. 'Nuff said.
