Made in Korea (2007). Wilkinson locking tuners and Wilkinson tremolo. Tobacco Burst color. Chambered body, lightweight, 2 Reverend Humbuckers (passive), 3 way selector, 2 control knobs (1 volume, 1 tone (cutting treble frequencies) and 1 bass contour (cutting bass frequencies).

I give a 9 here, because I am not 100% happy with the Wilkinson Bridge (I had some tunning problem, but I confess I have not taken the guitar to a professional setup).

Sound : 10
These days I play mostly classic rock. I like also harmonic metal, modern rock, and harmonic punk rock (e.g., bad religion), though. in my current residence, I am playing it through a holy grail reverb and a Kustom Tube 12.

The guitar is absolutely quiet, no noise at all, and the sound is incredible. Kind of organic. I can play anything from Guns to Helloween without any problem. The only sound I have not been able to get are the very bright ones (Telecaster kind of). Thus, this is a fat sounding guitar with an great great tone.

This guitar made me appreciate the sound of a great sounding the neck pickup, for the very first time.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I am not that picky about finishes. The only thing I could spot are few marks on the fretboard edge. Nothing that compromises the playability, but it have been easily detected by the quality checking. The shape of this guitar is quite unique. It makes you look bigger.

The neck plays like butter. The finger slide easily between separated notes and never get stuck (dry or wet hands). The action was a bit high when I got it, but with few adjustments it is now where it suits me the best. You won't get Ibanez/Schecter kind of low action with this guitar, though.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar seems to be made for lasting long. I have had it since one year and a half, and nothing is loose. The guitar feels robust.

My guitar lacked the tremolo bar, and I got it send from Reverend to the distributor and then to my hands. Little bit slow process I would say.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing guitar for 15 years. I got more interested in tone just three years ago. Before I was mainly a metal head. Nevertheless, since then I have had the opportunity to play and own many guitars. I am also now able to realize the differences in tone and I got selective. The Jetstream is right now my favorite guitar from tone's viewpoint.

For the price, I dont think you can get a better tone than Reverend Guitars in general. Instead of gathering a bunch of wood and renamed hardware (lets say Duncan Pickups and Grover tunners) for easy selling, Joe Naylor thought the guitars as an sounding entity and I think he succeeded.

This is an extremely versatile instrument. Craftsmanship seems to be great- it looks beautiful and plays great. Almost looks like a jaguar crossed with a les paul, great wilkinson tuning and tremolo system that's easy to use and looks good. Beautiful Fender scale neck, bought with a nice hard shell case (for $100 extra) and three knobs- volume, tone, and bass contour, which is awesome. Plus, two powerful humbuckers.

Sound : 10
I love that this guitar is so versatile- it can go from a really ballsy, fat humbucking tone to a more refined strat-like single coil sound by using the bass contour knob. The pickups are very hot and react very well with the setup I'm using- an Orange Rocker 30, rotovibe, wah, delay. Gets some great trippy sounds when you run a slide over the neck pick up- reacts so well! I feel like I'm still discovering what the instrument can do and I've already had it for three months. So far, I like everything about it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The factor setup was great. Low action, super smooth feel to the neck, everything adjusted perfectly.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've only played one gig with it so far, but I used the hell out of the whammy bar and it stayed in tune really well. It seems like a very solid guitar, very well made. Nothing is loose or questionable. As they say, it is indeed "gig ready."

Customer Support : 10
I did have one repair. It has a graphite nut, which I'm told are very smooth on the strings, but can flake or chip from time to time. Reverend sent a new one since it was under warranty. Still need to get it installed but they seem pretty on the ball. The one time I spoke to someone at the company they were very friendly and helpful.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 16 years, own 2 G&Ls, a strat, Gibson SG, Seagull Acoustic, Orange Rocker 30, lots of pedals. I purchased my Reverend sight usneen, placed the order, did some research, haven't had a single regret. Very affordable and great playing and sounding. If it were stolen or lost I would replace it. I might eventually get another one with the P90 pickups anyway, just because those sound so great too. Reverend makes great guitars- I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with the product at the incredible competitive prices they sell for. And they look awesome.

Beautiful black finish with a tortoise pickguard, wilkinson trem bridge, 2 Reverend humbuckers with a 3 way switch.

Sound : 10
Full bright sound without being brittle at all...I play it through a Traynor YCV40, pickups are very quiet. Excells at classic rock tones(I can nail "Wayward Son" by Kansas with this one)A very very responsive guitar that works well with an expressive tube amp...you just have to play one to "get" it..the bass contour control works like a bass control one a stereo...the normal tone knob rolls treble in and out, and the bass contour rolls bass in and out...you can get a great country or rockabilly tone by rolling some bass out with your amp set clean.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect settup, no flaws at all, not even a little one!

Reliability/Durability : 10
no problems with anything on it...I would gig without a backup anytime...if this one were lost ar stolen or burned in a fire, I would trade any other piece of equipment I own to get one...I would sell my amp and borrow one or play through effects and direct into the pa if i had to

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't needed it

Overall Rating : 10
Almost too good to be true...I have played and owned most of everything...you can get close to David gilmour tones, Brad Paisley tones, all the while nailing ac/dc and kansas and ted nugent on the button. It rhythms as nice as a tele and shreds as well as an RG.

2006, made in Korea, 22 jumbo frets, flat spruce top, mahogany body, 3 way switch with bass countour knob, volume, tone, dual humbucker(reverend humbuckers),passive. Mapel neck with rosewood fretboard. Finish is metallic red. Wilkinson tremelo, wilkinson locking tuners. Nice hardshell case. Includes all allen wrenched needed for adjustment and even an extra tremelo spring. Free strap with purchase.

Sound : 10
I play mostly blues and blues rock stuff...ie Old ZZtop, Robin Trower, Hendrix, Cream, Mountain, AC/DC, Allman bros. This guitar absolutely rocks! I'm playing through a crate RFX 120 and a Peavey Valve King 212. The clean sounds are wonderful and the dirty sounds are even better. I can go from Angus Young all the way to Dave Mustaine. The Reverend Humbuckers handle it all. Pinch harmonics..you name it. But this thing shines when you play some Mountian...Miss.Queen sounds great...as does Never in My Life!..The bass contour knob is my favorite though..you can rock out with the full power of the humbuckers one minute..roll it back and get a great single coil sound the next. Joe really put some thought into this Tone Monster!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
My jetstream arrived completely in-tune right out of the box. I couldn't believe it when I ordered it and the next day I got an email asking how I wanted the action set and what size strings I would like. It came exactly as I specified...action low enough to pull off some fast stuff but still high enough to not have a slide bounce off the frets. Pickups are set up and even come with an info sheet saying how far from the strings the pole pieces should be. The metallic red paint with black pick gaurd and chrome hardware looks great. The only flaw I could find anywhere was a very small chip on the fretboard below the last fret on the low E string...doesn't affect anything though and you have to be really looking hard to locate it. The neck is THE best feeling neck I have ever wrapped my hands around. Nice and smooth. The rosewood fretboard is soo smooth, the frets are perfectly worked..no snags. Every bit of this guitar looks great, from the funky body style(kinda like a fender jaguar but better) to the satin finished neck. The hardware is all top notch. I messed around on the tremelo for about half an hour and then checked it with my tuner..still in tune. I checked this guitar out on the web for a month before ordering...read every review..every article...looked at every picture I could find. I NEVER buy a guitar that I haven't laid hands on...until now. I wasn't dissappointed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
When you pick this guitar up it feels very solid. I don't forsee any structural or hardware problems with this. The paint looks good and thick too. Strap buttons feel like you could hang a wrecking ball from them. I think this will definitely be a good gig worthy guitar...but I always have a backup just in case of broken strings or whatever. I've only had this for a day now and can't put it down.

Customer Support : 10
The only contact I've had so far was the email I got asking my preferences for the setup...I was surprised by that.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 20 years and I own a 75 Gibson SG, a modified strat, a Schecter C-1 Classic, a Danelectro, and an ESP. Amps are crate RFX120, Peavey Valve King 212 , and a Line 6 flextone head and 4x12 cab...various pedals, boss, voodoo lab, dunlop,,etc. No regrets with this purchase. If it was stolen or lost...I'd sell off some of my other gear to replace it, even the SG...I could get two Reverends out of that! I've played Les Pauls , Strats, Teles, PRS, lately deciding what to get and this one beat em all in my opinion. I read about it for a while and did my homework..took a chance and ordered one..I love the bass contour knob...now I can get a good humbucker/single coil sound in any position. The only gripe I have is that it's kinda hard to get at the contour knob if you have the tremelo arm installed. Everything else is great..the 3 way switch is in the perfect spot for fast switching. Don't let the low price and the fact that these are made in Korea scare you away. This is one of the finest guitars I've every laid hands on...and I don't just give away complements. I'm very critical when it come to guitars and amps. This is a Tone Monster..buy it. You wont be sorry. If you don't like it, I'll buy it from you!
