nice look, 22 fret, 24 3/4 scale (Thank You Reverend, Finally) two humbucker classic design, but with very welcome changes. Mine is the blue that is discontinued with Mahogony and maple top with a flame veneer. (need the real maple there for tone, not easy to find for this $$.) Tune-o-matic bridge with wilkenson ez lock tuners. Neck medium jumbo frets, kinda like a '60's neck but with way better feel.
Sound

I play mostly blues based classic rock and this is perfect for that. I love the crunch. Had to do some queaking of pickup pole screws, more on that later. I play thru a crate vc-20, great little tube amp. don't let the brand fool you on those. It nails any sound I could want from it's much more costly competitor. The pickups are very sweet and defined. The volume control is effective, which I require as I use no pedals and it cleans up nicely. I might do the cap mod mentioned by the super tweeker above, but right now it is very very well functioning. The bass contour: I am going to reserve my opinion on this as I am still playing with it. It does affect the sound in a unique way that I do like for cleaner passages, but I am very much in love with the full bodied sound this style of guitar is known for with it off. Nice upgrade to provide greater flexibility for the working musician. so I will say this guitar can provide a wide palette of sounds. I am extremely pleased with the Sound quality of this guitar. Nails exactly what I was looking for alot less money!

Disclaimer: This is a very well constructed and playing guitar. Initial string and intonation set up was perfect right out of the box! Very well done.
Now for the bad and these may have been corrected on future runs of these models.
I did have to adjust the pole screws on both pickups 2 full turns up for the wound strings and 1 full turn down for the unwound. This brought the balance much closer. The pickup adjustment height I did not touch as this is spot on. I am sure Joe is working on this with the pickups.
I do have two finish flaws:
1. the graphite nut is slightly off center. (very slight and doesn't affect the playablity.
2. There is a small polyurethane drop between the 22nd fret and the end of the neck right in the center. again doesn't affect playablity.
As this is for the working musician the tone and sound are there.
Set up is awesome!

This is a very well constructed guitar.
GET STRAP LOCKS. They are worth the money. as this will drop on you if you don't get em.
I would use live with out a backup, except for a possible string break I don't think this axe will let you down.

I have delt with Reverend in the past. I used to own thier Hellhound 40/60 guitar amp. Great amp for the money. I loved it then fell in with the el84 class A sound, not the Hellhounds fault! And the have the best customer server in the world. The dealer will handle any issues you have with this guitar. But if you ever need anything from Reverend they do bend over backwards for the customer. Great Company I wish them very well. And Thanks again for the 24 3/4 guitar. been waiting a while for this Joe!

Been playing about 15 years. I have had several guitars including a gibson les paul, and this is a great substitute for a substantial savings. and I think I like the neck better than any guitar I have ever played. Period. It plays very effortlessly.

Roundhouse HB FM. Body is a Gibson LP copy with a flattop. Mahogany Body with a Blueburst maple top. Tune-o-matic bridge with two humbuckers. Set nect with Wilkinson locking tuners. Guitar has a three toggle switch with master volume and tone control. Guitar also adds a bass contour conrol knob.

Guitar electronics are best in class in my opinion. I have a Gibson Vintage Mahogany LP which is a nice guitar for $750. The Reverend Roundhouse is fuller sounding with more definition. The Bass control know cleans up the muddiness that the Gibson can't. The variety of sounds are really fulfilling. The neck position with the bass control know off gives a ringing bluestone. Add some bass and it gets thicker and darker. I love the variety of sounds this guitar offers.

Guitar arrived in mint condition. Action was low without fretbuzz. The pickups were set to factory recommendations. Neck was straight and true, no adjustments necessary. My guitar has a bookmatched Blueburst top which was flawless in condition and all hardware was in perfect conditon. If I had a complaint it would be the fretwire. I own another Reverend and the frets were smoothed out by the seller to make a slick and great feeling neck. This guitar was bought from a different retailer who did not smooth out the frets and you can feel some sharpness as you run your fingers down the edge of the guitar. A Minor issue

This guitar is a tank. Heavy too, over 10Lbs. The electronics and hardware are all first class material so they should stand up. I would gig with this guitar without a backup - no question about it.

I haven't needed any repairs so I have not contacted Revered. The owner of Reverend, Joe Naylor, patrols the the Reverend chat forum and has answers tons of questions within the forum. I suspect if he does that he would answer your service call.

I've played guitar for about 6 years. Took a lenghty break before renewing my passion just last year. I love Reverend Guitars. Hands down the best guitar for the money. I've owned several guitars before buying a Reverend such as a Fender strat MIM, Gibson Vintage Mahogany LP, PRS SE model, Schecter C1+, Parker, and a Epiphone. Reverend was heads and shoulders above the rest

i got in on the last day of reverend direct and bought one of these demo models. i wanted a good solid humbucker guitar for not a lot of money. i thought about the prs series made in korea, or wherever they are made, but , since i liked the looks of this one i went ahead and impulsively bought it. came with a very good padded gig bag, worth the 30 bucks. this guitars looks like a les paul, but has a flat body, not carved. sweet finish, faded sunburst, gorgeous understated finish. someone spent a lot of time on it,black backing, pickup switch goes horizontal, not vertical like a les paul. the weight and balance of this thing is just right. it has a feel of my 69 gibson les paul, but much lighter. i have to find the right adjustable guitar strap for this thing and bring the neck up a little higher to me. i had to adjust to the neck a little bit, i might put "9"s on this guitar, it came with "10"s, action is a little bit high, but not too high. i think the 9s might work just fine. i worked out on this guitar for about an hour, right out of the box, and it stayed in tune nicely. so far so good, partial mahogany body. the humbuckers are very balanced, and the bass knob acts to give you a nice bass boost. i found one small flaw on the neck, about mid way up, but it is hard to see, just something in the finish. this guitar reminds me of a les paul junior, i used to own one, i bought it back in 1970 in a little music store in texas. it had a great feel and weight. this neck reminds me a lot of that les paul junior neck. on a dr z carmen ghia, the guitar sounds a little dark, but on my allen brown sugar, the reverend is very big, huge bright tone. the frets are medium, i thought the neck would be bigger, but, it didnt take long to get used to it.

guitar is not noisy at all, this guitar is very similar to a les paul, but much less dollars

i just cant find anything wrong with this guitar. i dont know if i would have picked this one, if i had a bunch of reverends to choose from, but for the money and what you get, i think it is worth it.

i dont know about this, it has a one year warranty, which i will use if some of the hardware goes bad, noisy pots etc.

i am an old bird, been playing since 1969. i have a 69 les paul,a grosh strat, a reverend slingshot, a 98 terry mcinturff polaris pro, a nash 52 tele, a nash 62 strat... i would not be afraid to try a reverend without playing one. you could just send it back if you didnt like it, and be out 25 bucks for shipping. i would give this guitar a 9, very good value. this is a sweet guitar, i would not pay one thousand dollars for it, but for half that, it is great. nice attention to detail for a guitar in this price range.
