Features : 9
Nice heavy ash body, smooth maple neck that feels a lot like the one on a Gibson SG I used to own. Dual passive humbuckers, nothing amazing but they sound decent and get the job done. A volume, tone and 3 way switch, fixed bridge. Decent tuners.

Plus it looks really really cool.

Sound : 9
Sounds pretty good. You can get a decently wide range of humbucker sounds by using the different pickups, from full and warm to bright and cutting.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I received this with some buzzes and generally set up badly, but it cleaned up very nicely with a set up and a new nut. This does not feel like a $300 guitar, it plays like a real charm
Now the neck is straight as an arrow, the action is decent and it plays like a charm.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've gigged without a backup and I'll probably do it again. This guitar is a real tank. The body is solid, strap buttons are nice and big. Reliable for sure.

Customer Support : No Opinion
SPG no longer makes overseas guitars, now all they make is custom guitars in the US.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for a couple of years and run my Telestar through an Ibanez SD-9 and a Freakshow Digilog Delay to an Ampeg Reverberocket Head and a Traynor 4x12 (with v30s).
I'd definately buy this again if I lost it.

This guitar is a real sleeper, so if you find it somewhere, buy it, because it's worth a lot more than the going rate these days. I've played a Schecter PT and this feels a lot like it at a fraction of the price.
