Purchased from the owner of SPG guitars.Very cool guy andsets them up nicely. The "darkside" is made overseas.It features I beleive a mahogany body {black} kind of prs tremonti style.It has 1 volume 1 tone and a 3 way selecter, black lic.by Floyd rose trem with locknut,all balck hardware including black les paul style covered p'ups, ebony fretboard with v shaped abalone inlays.Very nice quality guitar for the money.
Sound

It sounds pretty decent through my Vox AD50VT although the pickups are a little noisy at full blown metal distortion.Has a very thick sound just feeds back a little much.With a duncan 59 inthe bridge and a jb in the neck it will be a beast. Has a very good clean sound though with the stock pickups. I play Pantera,Creed,Alterbridge,Metallica,Killswitch Engage,Etc.Mostly hard rock and metal.Great for these styles of music.

Joe sets them up ready to play nice and low and fast. The pickups were set right.Everything is great on this guitar.The only thing that could make it better is a setneck.
Reliability/Durability

So far it seems solid as a rock.Nice and a little lighter than a les paul so it has great sustain.Very nice finish. I have only had it a few weeks but seems like it will last a good long while.Would use it without a backup if I had to.

Joe is a great guy and very adamate in make you happy. No warranty but if i have a problem with it i am sure he will help.

I have been playing 26years. I also own a Spg "animalized" {jackson soloist type quality}.Bound fretboard , setneck lavaburst with matching headstock.Dime 333 dimebolt, Gibson studio lp green,with gold hardware,several Agile lp's high end models. I would deinately buy another SPG and probably will now that I have gotten to deal with the new Owner personally{JOE}. I would replace them for sure if they were lost or stolen.
