Really nice Solid Mahogany body with a Maple neck. Paint work is pretty good with the exception of a small chip at the screw hole I noticed when removing the pick guard. The back of the guitar is a nice cherry finish with no flaws that I can find. Has a Two-Way truss rod installed which I was unaware of when I ordered the Axe. Nice feature. Also the EMG Select pickups are a nice added feature along with the Grover Tuners. This Guitar ia heavy and feels like my old Gibson Deluxe

Set was pretty good out of the box with the 10's already installed. Ever so slight Buzz on the low open E but noot too bad. Action was set nice and low to start out with.
Reliability/Durability

I feel this guitar will stand up to the test of time althoguh I will go ahead and replace the pots and pickup switch for the heck of it. Who cares about how long the finish will last, I wore though the finish on my old Gibson anyway.

Overall, Great Guitar and for the money ($220) shipped, I couldn't replace my old Deluxe for any cheaper. I think it's a much better Axe than the Epiphone for 1/3 of the cash.
