Les Paul Body guitar. Bought at Rondo Music.
It's supposed to be made of solid mohogany. Haven't been able to cheack this out, as i wont sand it to see if it's true, but it sure it's heavy as hell!!
22 fret, rosewood fretboard.
Two humbuckers, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3 way switch. Golden Hardware. Black pickguard.

Sound : 8
I play mostly blues and rock. I have managed to fit the sound to my needs pretty well.
Pickups are actually pretty hot. I think thet are a bit too bright for my style, but it's actually pretty good.
If you fool around with tone and volume pots you can actually get a great variety of sounds. I would however change the pickup for some with a darker sound for the neck. A change of pots would also be a good idea. Overall you have a real nice sound of the stock parts. I'm happy with the factory set up.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
Ok, action....I'm used to play starts, so it's kind of weird to change to and LP. I can say that action it's just right, not too high but not too low. You can start playing the minute you take this out of the box.
I had to lower the pickups as the sound was too hot for me.
The fretboard was a bit dusty and needed oiling, but after that it started to sound great!
There are however some flaws in the finish, but to be a $150 guitar (It's no GIBSON OK??), these are really a minor thing. The bindings are not perfect, specially when the neck sets with the body, but not something that anyone watching you play would notice. You have to look closely to be able to see a finish flaw.
The tuners are SX, and they stay in tune real nice! I played for 3 hours after I received it and i only had to tune it once!!! I did'nt think that I would get such good tuners.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I would definitelly use this for live playing, it stays in tune very well, has beautiful sound.
The hardware looks good, the tuners a little bit cheap. Speed knobs are awesome!!!
If I played proffesionally, i dont think i would go to a gig without backup, but it could be done with this guitar.
Don't know how will the finish last, I'll just have to wait and see.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Bought it at Rondo Music.
It came inside the case that i orderer and it was well packed.
The case had a scratch, but i really didnt want to wait for them to send a new one, so i havent deal with Rondo.

I've been playing for 6 years now. I own two acoustic guitars, and a Fernandes Decade A-1 made in Korea.
The moment i lifted the GG1 I could tell it was reaaly heavy copaired to the other guitars that I own.
I love the sound, the finish, the color. Speeed knows look awesome, and golden hardware its also good looking.
I wanted a Les Paul, but i couldnt afford a Gibson, and i had better refferences for gg1 than epiphone. I didnt really believed harmony central reviews, but after buying this guitar, I DO.
I would deffinitelly buy another one id anything happened to this gg1. After seing the quality and sound of SX I'm planning on getting a Tele from SX and a PS from Agile.

solid mahogany body,set neck,cheap looking gold tuners,plastic nut,rosewood fretboard,H,H pickup,two volume two tone control,

Sound : 7
i like to play everything from classic rock to country some shred, and now even noodling around on some jazz. this guitar is very nice for the jazz stuf it is built for the allman bros sound or g&r stuff, it is a little weak for real heavey metal. the best sound is in the clean setting very nice to pick and strum chords on.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
this guitar is beautiful the colour is such a deep red mahogany it looks awesome against the white binding, there were a few instances on the binding where the mahogany stain got onto the binding but they are very minor. the action was a little high and i had to adjust the intonation on several strings but that is natural for any guitar that is built assembly line style.the frets on my guitar were very nicley dressed a little fret buzz at first now after adjusting action and intonation it is fairly quiet.

Reliability/Durability : 8
i have played for over 30 yrs but have never gigged professionaly, having said that i believe you could easily gig with this guitar, and be very proud of its looks and overall quality. no one plays a gig without a backup that is just stupid.

every time i deal with rondo kurt is prompt and courteous i like their service and shipping very much this is the 3rd instrument i have purchased through them and each one was a keeper.

i own an ibanez rg 270, ibanez roadstar strat copy, olp wolfgang copy, ibanez jumbo accoustic, line 6 75 watt amp, peavey envoy 110, digitech rp 2000 effect box, overall this is exactly what i hoped for a great les paul sound without the overinflated les paul price, i have played many epi les pauls which were twice the price and they felt like complete junk, this guitar blows them away, i know its hard to believe but these guitars are the real deal.
