Sound : 9
I play mostly blues, and this guitar fits the bill. It sounds almost as good as my vintage Dean Cadillac, but has a little more bluesy tone to it. Volume and tone controls are pretty sensitive, which is alright. I practice with a Fender frontier 15 watt amp (not a great amp). I got a little amp buzz on higher volumes but turning the tone down a little made it go away. Not tinny at all.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The finish is ok. A couple of spots in the wood and a couple of small dents in the wood, all under the clear coat. One tone knob is a little crooked. It's a cherry sunburst, although the picture showed more of an amber color around the outside. This one is definitely red! Nice cream colored pickguard, but the toggle knob is more of a pinkish color. Now the best part. This guitar was setup almost perfectly. I know I got lucky, but the neck, strings, and pickups were right on. Even the intonation was so close I didn't have to touch it. This amazes me. I've never purchased a guitar that didn't need setup before. What a deal for $140! I'm giving it a +9. Can't imagine a $500 Epiphone Les Paul being any better.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Very solid guitar, 8 pounder. I'm not hard on them, so I know it will hold up fine. The tuners and electronics are better than I thought they'd be. Time will tell. The finish will never wear off. Plenty of clearcoat (maybe a little too much). Strap buttons are solid. I'm sure it could be used without a backup, but that's not a good idea with any guitar.

Customer Support : 10
I previously ordered a lefty guitar from Rondo and prior to shipment, I noticed it had a reversed headstock (as advertised). An oversight on my part. I emailed them and they canceled the order immediately. No hassles at all. That's how I ended up with this on. I received it in 3 days. I've ordered another strat type guitar from them.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for 8 years. It started as something to do during the Ohio winter months. I'm an acoustic player, and recently started getting into electric blues. Quite a difference. I looked at alot of different Les Paul knock offs and read all the reviews. I figured I'd try this one and if the neck was straight I could fix the rest. Was I ever pleasantly surprised. I'm giving this a +9 for a low to midrange priced guitar. Never played a real Gibson Les Paul, and probably never will.
