Bought it new. Have it few years. Made-in-China.Black with gold hardware. 22 frets, mahogany neck, maple semi-hollow body. One switch and 4 controls, ALNICO humbucking pickups. A copy of Gibson BB King Lucille. But it is without the vari-tone switch which is not very usefull as I read in other reviews.

Sound : 9
I put a heavy strings(11)while the neck is pretty massive. But it is still a nice neck. With Music Man amp and Fender speakers it sounds very clean. Good for jazz, rockabilly and surf. Good for blues of cours, too. The sound is very clear but much more mid range than a strat of course. So with the pedals one can make a good distorted sound, too. I do not like heavy metal very much so I don`t know what to tell you about it, but you can easily play Queens of the stone age. So it is a versatile guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I put the bridge pickup higher and the neck pickup lower. Now you do not notice the diferece of loudness and strenght when you change the pickup. Maybe I could say that it is not very good about staying in tune. It has to be tuned often especialy the "G" string. Finish is perfect and I can say that it looks great. I give it 7 for tuning. The rest is good.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I have it few years and I play it more or less only at home. I think I could not have any complains.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I do not know about warranty but it is difficult to contact them directly.

Overall Rating : 9
I`we been playing for 25 years but far from proffesional. I am playing electric for about 9 or 8 years and this were a little bit more seriously. Fife of that playing with the band but only in the basement, not on the stage. I started with a good strat copy. After I put the Fender ALNICO pickups on it and it sounded good but I like this gitar much more for everything I try to play. I think it is a little bit because of the personal taste but I think it is a very good guitar.

2005 Made-in-China model. Mine is black with chrome hardware. 22 frets, laminated mahogany and mystery wood semi-hollow body (about 9lbs). One switch and 4 controls, Ceramic high-output pickups. Stop tailpiece with tune-o-matic. Decent tuners.
Overall, a pretty exact ES-335 copy that I've since modified significantly.

Sound : 6
As-is, I felt this guitar was somewhat of a disappointment. The pickups were very high-output and midrange-y. Through heavy distortion, this provided a wonderful full growl that worked perfectly for heavy music. It also overdrove my Fender bassman to its full Marshall-y glory. The problem was the clean tone, which was almost impossible to get. Even through a clean Peavey SS amp, the tone was always distorted and muddy. Turning down the guitar volume only made it worse and robbed clarity terribly. What's worse is that the guitar had so much output that it distorted my chorus and phaser pedals.
It was an 8 for heavy distortion, but a 3 for cleans. With my new pickups, I'd give it a 9.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
Set-up was unplayable. In all positions, there was unavoidable fret buzz and noting-out. The action had to be raised significantly to eliminate this, which led to the next problem. With the action high enough to eliminate buzzing, the intonation became impossible to set. The bridge was placed too far forward, so everything fretted sharp. I fixed this with a floating bridge and new tailpiece, but as-is was very poor. The 4th and 5th frets were too high, causing unfixable buzzing until I re-leveled the frets. Stop bar was also mounted crooked. Nut was high, but OK - it got replaced anyway after it broke.
Pretty, though.

Reliability/Durability : 5
The initial hardware was garbage - the tune-o-matic started buzzing horribly after 6 months and had to be replaced. Strap buttons got replaced, but that was more for preference. 1 knob broke, as did 2 pots and the nut. Finish went from glossy to swirled quickly, but this was probably from my own use.
I've changed most everything on it and have made it very reliable, but as-is was quite poor.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Didn't try - I bought the guitar to modify, so I didn't complain about the poor quality.

Overall Rating : 5
I've been playing for 12 years and bought this as a foundation for lots of different mods. I basically wanted to make the most reliable guitar I could while keeping with semi-hollow conventions:
Floating wood bridge: Needed to get intonation anyway, but the wood top also prevents string breakage and improves clarity.
Trapeze Tailpiece: Quick string changes, and the original was crooked anyway.
New Pickups: A Lipstick Humbucker in the neck. In the bridge I was able to fit a Tele pickup into a salvaged humbucker shell, which makes for a nice hybrid tone. I also changed over to 2 control after the other 2 broke. Now, I have a gorgeous clean tone that overdrives very nicely.
I wasn't disappointed at all because I knew from the get-go I'd be changing everything. Now, I probably have at least the cost of the guitar invested in parts, but I have a wonderful playing and sounding instrument that looks great. I use it without a backup (or case) all the time and it's never let me down.
