I play mostly AC/DC, SRV, Clapton, CCR, calssic rock and blues and i wanted a cheep SG and i didnt care if it was Gibson or not. I play thorugh a Crate amp with a pedal board in front of me. Overall this part needs some work.
The pickups are a little weak, the neck pickup has a ice growl to it and i kinda like it however the bridge pickup it just thin sounding. Its weak and dosnet punch like i would like. Still, for 159.99 its not bad, great for a beginner but this will be a project guitar for me. I might drop two EMGs in it, with those this would increase ten fold.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The black guitar with red accents just screams beauty, ive only had it for a week and already ive gotten major comments on how cool it looks. Its not cluttered but its stylish f you know what i mean. The action needs to be lowered a little bit but not much but thats expected on an internet gutiar. I inspected it right out of the box and the only thing i found was some of the tape around one of the pickups had begun to come loose but that was no biggie. Overall with a little work this would be a very good guitar.

I still dont know if this guitar would withstand live playing, it seems solid but ive only had it for a week now. The strap buttons are solid and the tuners right on, overall it seems solid but like i said i havent gigged with it. The finish seems a little thin but thats something that can be worked around. Always bring a backup no matter what. OVerall it seems really good and solid

This is my 7th guitar, overall its great for a beginner but for me it will be a project gutiar. If you get it you might want to replace the pickups, otehr then that everything is great on it.
