Same features as previously mentioned except the bridge is a lefty Fender copy, not a Floyd Rose. Also the pickguard says S-K-Y, not S-R-Y. That is why it's called a SKY guitar. No gig bag came with mine. Just bought it so it must be an 06 or 07 model. Made in China.

Sound : 6
I play rock and blues/rock so a Strat sound fits my style fine. Signal path is guitar>Bad Monkey>Valve Junior>2 Marshall cabs with 1 10 in each. Sound OK, nothing special but not bad either.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
The action was sky high. The G string was rusted, tuners have scratches on them and it looks like 2 pitted areas on the jack plate. The body is 3 pieces of mismatched wood. They should've used this body for a solid color guitar. The frets are huge and I don't like them at all. I like Ibanez/Gibson frets.
I had it professionally set up and changed the strings on it and it made a huge difference in the playability but the massive frets will really hamper my playing.

Reliability/Durability : 6
The gold finish will probably wear off because for some reason no guitar parts manufacturer has figured out how to make a gold plating that won't. I'm not going to hold that against this guitar, it is happening to the gold parts on my Les Paul, too. Even though it played better after the setup and string change, it would rarely get played because of the frets and would never get gigged. I never gig without a backup.

Rondo has a 30 day return policy and I'm using it. It is already boxed and waiting to go to the UPS store. I don't expect to have any problems returning it or getting a refund.
I have bought from Rondo before and hold them in very high regard due my previous dealings with them.

Overall Rating : 4
I've been playing over 30 years and have some very nice guitars and other gear. This is a $100.00 knock off of a $1,500.00 guitar and I laughed when I originally saw it. That should've been a warning! I bought it anyway and immediately regretted it. It is a beginner's low budget Strat copy dressed up to look like Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar. Change the pickguard and lefty bridge and you have a run of the mill Strat copy with gold hardware. I hoped this would match the quality of the Agile I purchased from Rondo but there is no comparison.

this is an SX SKY (SRV copy), made in china. it almost looks like a fender SRV, with less price.

it has 21 fret, solid top, the spec is pretty much like fender. one volume knob, 2 tone knob. d'adario strings (i hate it, i change it to gibby 0.10 strings)

the body is an alder, the fat neck is made of maple. very good finish. the rosewood fretboard is a lil bit rough. i prefer SX with maple fretboard. the neck looks like aged maple. comes with a gig bag.

Sound : 8
i use this axe with my POD. here's my setup:

SX-->POD--> roland cube 15

it sounds great. for 125 dollars, i have no complaint. im very suprise on how its sound. in the the clean channel, its very bright and sharp.

you can easily get bluesy tone by the axe. mod is neccesary for metal stuff.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
the strings height is to high, definately need setup.

Reliability/Durability : 7
definately good for both main and backup guitar for giging.

i've been playing for almost 6 years now. i also have an ibanez korean made RG270, a samick LP copy artis series. the SX has the best clean tone. beat the shit out of the RG and samick. with a great tube amp, this baby will scream with tone.

if it were stolen, i'd probably get another one, but with maple fret.

if you want bluesy tone, and you in a tight budget, get an SX. totally worth it.

I think it's a 2004 Model and like the other SX Guitars crafted in China. It has 21 frets, 1 Volume control, 2 Tone control, 5-way selector, 3 Singlecoils, 6 Kluson Copy's and a reversed Trem like the original. The Hardware is all Gold. I don't know where the Pickups where done or what their specifications are. But I think they are even done by SX or a side company.
Body and Neck is like all the other SX Strats. It has a nice 3-tone Sunburst Finish. The bridge is a lefty Floyd Rose copy. As said before, the tuners are good Kluson tuners. No accessories are delivered.
The only thing that isn't like the original as I can see is that the Pickguard says "SRY" and not "SRV"

I play most Punk Rock. But sometimes Blues and Jazz when I get bored of all the Rock. I will try to get a SD Invader in it and to fit my Punk Rock desires.
I use a Line 6 Sipder 2 Head with a Line 6 4x12 Cabinet.
It has a little buzz on all positions but it isn't very noisy or nerving.
If you play it on the right AMP you get a cool SRV Sound. Even it has a open variety of Sounds and I have no dislikes about it. We will see what I get when I install the Invader Humbucker.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Thery well done SX! I gave the guitar to my local Guitarshop and the action was nearly perfect. Some small adjustments were necessary and the dealer said the parts were crafted out of a lighter matieral like on the Fender originals but they are even good. The whole electronic is fine routed and the SC's are even o.k.
I could not see any flaws on the guitarfinish or the Hardware. The only problem are the potis. They have a little scratching Sound when you use them. But this problem where even killed at my Guitarstore.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have no doubt about live playing! She will go with me to every gig I play. Perhaps I have to do somework on the Hardware in the Future. But If the guitar will keep her moment condition I will let her stay in original conditon. I hope the finish blows away on some pieces so that it looks more used as the original to me. Even on this guitar I will install locking strap buttons as on my other guitars. The guitar will be used for gigs but with backup. When I went out to a gig I take always a backup with me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I think there is no direct support. You have to call or Email your dealer if you have problems. But for me there are no problems.

Overall Rating : 9
I can only say that this is a very good guitar and I would buy a new one if the guitar get loosed. But I hope this will never happen.
