Been playing for 30+ years and have an entire rooom full of gear. Fender, Gibson, Marshall and other goodies.
I'm very partial to Samick as I have a UM-4 thats more than 10 years old, has never had any issues, and plays perfectly. If the Blackbird is half as good I'll be extremely happy with it.

Solid body acoustic with hollow cavities in the body. Solid spruce top, grover tuners, L.R. Baggs system for the pickups. Black in color with body and neck binding.

When plugged into a p.a. system or through an acoustic amp, very good acoustic sound can be attained. The Baggs system has four small control knobs on front so dialing in sound is easy, you can be more bass and can adjust the treble. Through an electric guitar amp, you can get a good clean semi-acoustic sound, sort of 335ish.

I've been playing 15 years and also own an old Epiphone Genesis (excellent guitar), and an epiphone sg special (a real sleeper). I have to add, although the model says blackbird on the truss rod cover, this model is acutally now called the cheyenne. The new blackbirds have black hardware which this one does not. This one was made before they came out with the cheyenne model.
