Sounds similar to an acc./elec. Ovation I played. Very good tone and definition on every string. One tone, one volume slider. The tone slider is very effective at getting the full range of possible sound.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Flawless workmanship. I have seen lower action but this is about the same as a fender or yamaha. No buzzing. Came with DiAderrio strings. The artistic perfection of this is way over the top. Should be displayed in a glass case. My words can't describe. Wait a minute. Yes they can. For the immaculate fit and finish I hereby give this 10.

Unlike some guitars the cord snaps in nice and snug. No static when you move around. Mine came with a loose ground wire at the input which had to be re-soldered. It was causing a very subtle hum which would stop when I touched the input with my finger. No big deal. I paid the guitar shop 15 bucks and it took them 15 minutes. I could have lived with the slight hum but I figured "what the hay". I only paid 119 bucks at ZZounds. Samick offered to fix it for free-minus shipping.[10 bucks.]

Samick is cool. They don't have a 800 number so you got to call Los Angeles long distance.
Get a phone card at the 99cent store for a buck and talk for a hour. They will fix anything and make you happy if you pay shipping to them. They pay shipping back. They would get a 10 if they paid shipping both ways.

I would buy this again. I like that it doesn't use batteries like active electronics do.
