Mine's a 2007 shiny black cutaway model,Fishman with tuner, equipped with d'Addario strings.

Sound : 9
Use it for fill-ins and "re-inventing" rock standards. Played either acoustic or on a Fender Eighty or Hughes/Ketner. Nice, bright sound either way with lovely tone. Trebel can be a bit ear-splitting but the Fishman handles it pretty well. For the price, I've heard far worse.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Came strung, tuned with new strings, adjusted. Very little tweaking to be done upon purchase. Looks well made and sturdy, although I'd definitely suggest a well padded case as it'd be a shame to scratch the paintwork.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Only had it for a week, but am loving every minute of it. Don't know just how it's going to stand up to regular live playing, but so far, I can't really fault it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
One year warranty, so should be ok.

Overall Rating : 9
Been playing 4 years. Own a Fender Strat US, Hagstrom Swede, Godin Seagull, cheap Alba telecaster for messing around.
Tried a Takamine EG series and Ovation CC series which were great, but much more expensive. The sound on this guitar had nothing to envy from the others. Don't regret the purchase.

Probably a 2002, made in Indonesia. 12-string acoustic cutaway, 20 thin frets, Fishman classic 4 pickup. Pretty black finish, some edge design. Grover tuners, unique headstock shape, pretty fat neck since its a 12-string. Neck isn't that smooth or fast as I'd like, then again its got some pretty crappy factory strings.

Sound : 7
A twelve string is great for rhythm fills and I thought I'd get one when I finally bought an acoustic electric. When played, it has a nice bright 12-string sound, but it isn't rich or full. In fact, it isn't rich at all. When plugged in, the Fishman does a decent job reproducing the acoustic sounds.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
The action is low, but it still doesn't make it any easier to play. A tuner was loose and the wire inside to the pickup was dangling there. The fretboard takes a little dive at the last two frets where it meets the body. Also one scratch on the body.

Reliability/Durability : 4
This is the problem. When I first got it I noticed one two of the strings hit the 6th and 7th frets causing a buzz. I took it back and it was fixed in a day. 4 months later I noticed it was doing it again. The next week I happened to pick it up and the whole fretboard was out of wack. I thought about the humidity but I hadn't taken it outside, left it in a car or anything. It had just sat in my room. I took it back again and the dealer sent it to the factory. 2 or 3 months later I got a new one. I noticed a scratch (finish must be thin), but I didn't care anymore. No problems for 5 months now.

Warranty, I think a year, takes a while to get back to you.

Wouldn't ever get another Samick, I'll probably trade this one of in a couple months. I've been playing for three years and own 4 other guitars, someone got me this one. Samick put good looks to fool people into buying Greg Bennett guitars. They suck to play.
