Nice red finish, Came with a whammy bar, which I never use. Maple fretboord is good. tuners are nothing to write home about, but the guitar stays in tune fairly well. I bought htis off ebay for around 70 bucks. I'd say tihs is a pretty good guitar for $70. it plays nicely. Had to set intonation, adjust bridge and saddle heights. But I do that on every guitar I can lay my hands on.

I mostly play guitars thru bass amps, and this sounds quite good thru a crate BX100. The pickup selector is a little scratchy, probably needs to be cleaned. Sounds like a strat. Five way selector. Dang thing is scratchy tho. Seems like it plays bette rthe more I play it, but I have too maany guitars and basses to list. What's not to like about a strat copy tha sounds like a strat? As i said earlier, the maple fretboard is very nice. nay just be personal preference. Nothing wrong with rosewood, I just like the look and feel of the maple.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Frets are good. I foole dwith teh pickup heights, liek I do on everything, so by the time I have them set whre I like them, they could be anywhere near or far from the original setup. I'ev never seen a guitar come out the box that didn't need some adjustments. Kind of like a new pair of unsharpened hockey skates.

I'm not a gigging musician. usually get togehter with the boys 3-6 times per month. No reason to believe this guitar wouldn't hold up tho. I've notice dthere are a lot of guitar snobs out there. Does the instrument play nicely, stay in tune, let strings live a happy life? if yes, then why not play the guitar?

I've been playing too long to be this bad. I have les pauls, strats, tele, p bass, jazz basses, dreadnoughts, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, about forty harmonicas. blah blah blah. who cares what I play. this is a good guitar. Buy one for your kid, wife, brother, bass playing buddy, or for yourself. Put some 009s on it and wail. Crank the amp and bend those strings. Gotta love that maple fretboard.

Early 90's guitar I guess. Most likely made in Korea. 1 volume, 2 (useless) tone, 5 way selectors that produces 3 distinct sounds (why 5 way?). S/S/H no name pickups. Strat look alike. This guitar was given to me so I can't say too much about it.

Sound : 6
Ok. It's a 150$ guitar. It sounds like a 150$ guitars. Actually, it's not too bad. It buzzes a lot. You can get a clean/cheap Nirvana-like distortion out of it. It also can make a heavier sound. Good for punk-rock and hard-rock. Not much versatility. Clean sound is acceptable. It's a cheap guitar, don't expect to sound like Hendrix just because it looks like a strat. But there is something to be done here.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
I think the pickups need a *MAJOR* clean-up. The 6th strings often rattles on the 1st and 2nd frets. The action is otherwise OK. The finish is good.

Reliability/Durability : 4
Not for live playing. Unless you want to smash it. It's perfect for that. I think it was build for that. It's sound decent enough to play 1 or 2 songs and it's cheap so you would not mind destroying it afterwards. It's poorly assemble. The cable adaptor is very loose. The finish is good.

This guitar was given to me. I'm not going to start wasting my time.

Overall Rating : 5
Good for learning if you don't have to buy it. If you are going to pay, there is tons of cheap guitars that are better then this. Tone selectors are useless. The pickups are not really good. It can produce a decent distortion for punk-rock. No sustain. Don't waste money on this.

I bought this guitar at a pawn shop, and it was my first electric. It's your basic strat copy, made in Korea at the Samick factory. 21 frets, maple neck and fingerboard, volume, 2 tone, 5-way selector, 3 no name single coil pickups. Body is made of agathis and has a metallic red finish. Basic plastic tuners. The usual stuff.

Sound : 7
I started out playing punk and alternative with this, recently I've been playing more technical shred type stuff (Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Randy Rhoads, that style). This guitar actually works fairly well for it. It's not perfect, of course, but it supports my opinion that it is more how you play rather than what you play on. I can get a pretty good rock sound, though I'm getting kind of sick of the high endy single coils, and the action is not bad. The pickups are noisy in high gain situations, but other than that, the sound is decent for a $150.00 used guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I bought it used, but it was well set. I adjusted the pickups a bit, but other than that it was fine. Fretwork was decent, they have held up pretty well.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Pretty solid. I've used it live and it stands up. I put strap locks on it to be safe, though.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never used it.

I've been playing for 2 years and I'm 14. THis guitar is actually pretty good, but I wouldn't buy it again. I'd like to have something with humbuckers instead of SC's. Good first guitar, though.
