Mahogany body and through neck with solid thick flamed maple cap. Trans black finish, sperzel locking tuners, tonepro string through fixed bridge, ebony fretboard, seymour duncan pups with coil tap. Finish is just beautiful. Only thing I don't like is the custom engraving on the pickup covers - it just looks fussy to me.

I was exppecting this to be a metal monster, but the sound is definitely more "vintage" than I was expecting. Don't get me wrong - it can howl with the best of them, but is also warm and clear. Particularly pleased with the split sounds; I've never been particularly impressed with coil-split humbuckers on other guitars but this is very ussable. Overall very flexible, but still retaining a definite character of it's own.

Factory setup was fine, but as ever, much better after being tuned to individual preferences. Particularly surprised and impressed by the general quality; it's immaculate, and finished to a far better standard than I'd dreamed a korean guitar would be. I've never set hands on any real high end (2k+ prs's, melancons' etc) so I dunno how it compares to them, but it's a country mile ahead of anything else I've seen.

Seems very solid - I'm babying it just because the finish is so nice a chip or scratch would break my heart, but no reason to suppose it won't last as well as anything else.

Superb value, makes a mockery of the prices some other manufacturers charge - stick a "made in the USA" sticker on this, stick a "1" in front of the price tag, and nobody would bat an eyelid. Would buy another in a flash.

Great sound, very defined notes in all positions, split coils sound nice on this guitar. Bluesy front pickup, hot sounding bridge. It should suit most styles, especially hard rock and blues.

Set up fairly well, but took it in for an initial setup at the store. The guitar looks excellent and plays well.

I had them send me new pickup mounts for my other guitar. They seem to be okay.

I had the C-1 XXX with the Duncan Designed JB/Jazz copies. It was a real screamer, but this one is even better. The coil split on this one actually sounds good and strat-like. The rear pickup is very balsy! It has a better tone than my old C-1 XXX and my buddy likes the sound and neck playability better than his C-1 Exotic with the Schecter pickups. Abalone stripes down the body, eagle inlay at the 12th fret, gold hardware, Sperzel tuners, beautiful transparent black finish, and custom engraved pickups! This is the best sounding and best looking guitar I have ever owned.
