Features : 9
Korean built 2008 model, 24 frets, Ebony fretboard (which I love) volume/volume/tone 3 way switch for the controls, Seymour Duncan Blackout active pickups. Tonepros bridge with string-thru body. Grover tuners. Mine is the white color. First guitar I have ever owned that is white and I love it. Never liked white guitars before till this one.

Sound : 10
I tune my C-1 Blackjack ATX down to drop C. I got the guitar mainly to play killswitch engage type stuff and it is right at home with this tuning. It handles this very well and to my surprise the guitar went right into this tuning (it came in standard tuning) without having to retune many times. the 25.5" scale really helps out with keeping the tension in this tuning. Currently I am just running it through a line6 pod. The Blackouts really sound awesome and this is the first guitar I have had with those pickups in them. Have had guitars with EMG's before though. I read on a lot of forums and reviews that the neck pickup of the Blackouts does not produce a good clean sound and I have to disagree. I can get a really great clean tone out of mine, just as good as an EMG 85 on clean. Distortion is of course where the blackjacks really shine though. Monster sustain on this baby too.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The action came from the factory setup ultra low and perfect. Everything on it came in setup just cherry.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is perfect for gigging and I can see it holding up well. The finish looks great and looks like it will hold up for a long time.

Customer Support : 9
Schecter in the past has always been very friendly and helpful with any problems I've had. They are stand up guys that care about their customers and products. The guitar has a good warranty on it to boot.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 20 years and I have to say this guitar is one of the best I have owned and currently my favorite. I've owned many high end ESP guitars (even some customs) and this guitar hold up right their with the top of them. I also own a Schecter C-1 plus which is also a great guitar. This is the first guitar I've ever owned with and Ebony fretboard and I really really like it. It adds a level of brightness punch that rosewood fretboards seem to be missing. Not to mention how nice and glassy the ebony is. This guitar is just fantastic. Monster sustain, great playability and a great combination of features with the blackouts etc. Just a top notch guitar all in all. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a hard working guitar for rock or metal.
