great, i use the coil tapping alot, only thing i wish for is tone knobs for each pickup, but i still love it!

Sound : 10
this guitar has AMAZING clean tone. the first minute i got it i plugged it into an old p.a. system, nothing great by any means, but that gave me a clear demonstration of what the GUITAR sounds like, not my amp, and i was blown away!! it sounds amazing!! after plugging into my peavey combo amp, i couldnt stop grinning, it sounded so sweet!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
when the guitar arrived it was PERFECTLY in tune, had to be luck though cause new strings always stretch! finish was great, almost a mirror gloss, and with a likkle buffing still is after 2 years of hard playing! action was a little higher that normal for a stock elec, but i love it! i play alot of blues and i can bend sooo much better like this, my finger doesnt slip off the string!

Reliability/Durability : 10
this guitar is built like a rock! i do and always will gig without a backup, cuz if i spending money on a guitar, it will be one that will last! ive had it for over 2 years and everything is still tight and shiney!

Here's what we've got: Schecter C-1 Stealth. Grover Tuners, String-through carved mahogany body, set maple neck, Seymour Duncan '59 necka and Distortion Bridge, full cream binding, tribal inlay on 12th fret, 24 jumbo frets, 3-way switch, volume knobs for each pickup and a tone knob with the coil splitting (didn't even know it came with that), and black chrome hardware. I would have liked black-chrome pickup covers...but other than that this is all I could have ever wanted.

Sound : 8
I was looking for a guitar with a set neck and hopefully string-through body...and I found that. The sustain on this guitar is SWEET...just as you would expect from such features. The pickups took some adjustment to get used to. I really love the tone and sound of the '59 for distortion (I play mostly metal, Metallica, Opeth, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, etc...) but the bridge distortion pickup is practically worthless with distortion. It's just too bottom-heavy. I probably need to work with that some more, but right now I stick to the treble position for all things distorted.

The '59 in the neck is incredibly clear, each note sounds perfect. You can get that classic distortion sound or you can really push the gain and go as heavy as you want. Octave chords sound simply amazing with this little guy. My only problem is that harmonics are too great. I can get them done, but the pickup just isn't as high gain/output as I would like for a metal sound.

Clean is another story. I find that I get a very sweet warm tone out of the Distortion pickup...gives it a very nice jazz feel to it. The '59 is almost a bit too trebly, but that can be fixed with the EQ. I find high cleans to be annoying though, so I stick with that warm thicker tone of the Distortion pickup for clean...weird I know.

I'm considering eventually changing these out for EMG H4's...I'll make that decision once I've upgraded my amp.

One thing, when I split the coils, I get some crazy buzzing. I'm not sure what the problem is, or if it's just my junk amp or what...but I don't use the splitter at all. I never really had use for it since I much favor Humbuckers to singles, but it's kind of annoying. I'll probably get that looked at, most likely a poor connection or ground wire or something.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Action was way too low when I got the guitar, all the strings were buzzing, I raised the bridge a bit and everything is great there. The action is about perfect for me, I really like it. The intonation and everything seems about perfect.

The screw on the output jack was a bit loose, common problem and really easy fix. No problems there now.

The finish looks great. The guitar is just all around BEAUTIFUL. The binding, finish, and black chrome hardware make for a very pretty guitar. It impresses everyone I've shown it to.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
My experience here is too limited really. Since it was used the are already some signs of use...but it's nothing major. The back finish is noticeably marked up with tiny scratches from rough clothing I'm sure...but who sees the back of the guitar?

I've yet to play it live in any capacity.

This is the second electric guitar I've purchased. My first was an Epiphone G-310...and this Schecter blows that away, as it should. I've been playing for about a year and a half now and needed something higher end with better access to the lower frets. This guitar gives me that and more. The only real problem is the buzzing from splitting the coils...if that worked itself out I'd bump the score up from an 8 to a 9.

If stolen I'd most likely stick with Schecter and move up to the C-1 Plus. In another year or two I'll most likely buy a higher end guitar and keep this Stealth as my back up. I really like it, but I know some day I'll move beyond it.

This is a Korean made and USA set up Strat style guitar. I've owned it for about a month now and it was new when I bought it. I chose it after owning several Fender Strats, but wanted a guitar with more huevos. The real dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers sound really great, especially with the coil tapping available in the Tone Knob. It has a 24 fret rosewood set neck, Grover Tuners, solid mahogony body. It's a basic black with cream binding on the body and neck, and a single "tribal" X at the 12th fret. The fretboard radius is relatively flat, on the order of 14", but I'm getting used to it after the 9.5" strat radius. You basically get only a guitar in the box, no case, case candy or even an instruction manual. Just a guitar, so I deducted one point for that. It's just a basic, hardcore guitar with only the necessities, but that's what I was looking for.

Sound : 10
I play mostly classic rock and 80's/90's metal, the guitar was made for that style. I play mostly through a Line 6 Spider modeling amp and still messing with all the combinations. The Seymour Duncans are very clean and the Distortion in the bridge is really hot. The pups are also very clean when splitting the humbuckers into single coils. I don't play a huge range of music, but the guitar seems custom made for everything I do play.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
All the electronics were perfect, no issues. Set up was pretty decent. The action was pretty good, I haven't changed it yet. The pups were set correctly. The neck relief was right and no other issues with the neck. The frets all appear level and reasonably well finished. Really, the only complaint is the strings felt rusty. But new strings seem to be a new guitar requirement. The finish was very nice except for a pretty good ding next to the bridge. However, they told me about the ding and I got $70 off the normally discounted price ($360 rather than $430). I felt the ding was worth the difference for me.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I haven't had it long enough to really say much about the durability. However, my son also has a cheaper Schecter and it's been rock solid. The finish seems as though it would last. I wouldn't hesitate to gig with it. And I the components are high quality, so I doubt I'll have any issues with it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I bought it through Muscian's Friend and have nothing but good to say about them. Many folks like to trash MF, but I've bought several guitars and stuff from them and have had nothing but good results. Certainly much better than my local music store where I take lessons. Not really sure about the warrenty support as I haven't used it.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing (poorly!) for most of my life. I also have a hot rodded MIM Fat Strat and an Epi Les Paul. I play mostly through a Line 6 modeling amp or a pignose. I looked long and hard for this guitar and went through a couple others before settling on this one. I owned a MIA double Fat Strat, a MIM single fat, and played several Strat hardtails. The next best guitar was actually a Sweet Gibson LP custom. Unfortunatly, it was waaaay out of my price range. I really can't come up with anything I hate. I chose it for the electronics, set neck and relativly clean styling. The only thing I wish it had was a custom case. Most of my strats have custom hardshell cases and I think this should come with one, even if they had to charge a little more. But for the money and my taste, you can't come up with a better axe.

I've had this guitar about three weeks now, and like many others I'm sure, these reviews were an influence on the decision to buy this certain guitar. It has genuine USA Seymour Duncan pickups, a Distortion at the bridge and '59 at the neck, and the tone knob doubles as a coil tap, so you can effortlessly switch back and forth between thick humbucker tones to bell-like single coil sounds in the same song. The bridge pickup is perfect for thick, heavy distortion (note the name of this particular pickup), while the '59 at the neck delivers amazingly clear clean sounds. The high-gloss jet black finish is gorgeous, and the tribal graphic inlay at the 12th fret sets the design of this guitar off nicely. The pickups did come with nickel covers over them, which the picture in the catalogue showed the guitar without the covers, but I'm not complaining, they do actually look pretty cool. String-thru body, a Tone-Pros tune-o-matic bridge is locked down, so when you change strings, it's less likely for the intonation to stray off, and you don't have to worry about holding the bridgepiece in place while putting on the new strings. The neck is comfortable and easy to get a feel for. Included with this guitar was a crappy cable and a couple Allen wrenches.

Sound : 10
My band plays mostly hard rock/metal, but we also do mellow stuff, some bluesy stuff, and this guitar adapts to each style flawlessly. I'm plugged through an old DOD fuzz pedal, chorus, and envelope filter pedals, to a Dunlop Original Crybaby wah, and volume pedal, to either a Randall half stack or Marshall AVT series 2 12 combo (I could use an ABY switch if I had one), there is no noticeable unwanted noise, but when facing the amp(s) there is feedback of course, but a little feedback now and then is nice. Like I said earlier, the sound is great, harmonics and pinch harmonics are easy to do, there is really a wide variety of sounds that can be achieved. My only dislike about the sound is using the bridge pickup while tapped for single coil, if you go clean with this setting, you might wanna adjust the tone a bit, cuz the sound here can get pretty sharp, but a Strat, to me anyway, does the same with that setting, so still no complaints here.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action was set up a little higher than my personal preference, but it is fairly easy to adapt to, so I haven't yet had the action lowered, but I'm sure I will eventually. Also, I believe it came from factory with GHS strings, 9's I think...I'm an Ernie Ball guy, and prefer heavier gauged strings...but how many guitars have you bought that came exactly the way you wanted it, as far as action and strings go? You custom shop guys don't answer this.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This thing feels very solid, I have yet to play a gig with it, but it has had plenty of playtime on it since I got it and so far so good. The strap buttons are big enough where strap-locks are not a necessity, but still keep the option open. I use Kepur 1.Zero straps, and the ends of the straps are made to where when you get the strap on, it's not coming off...that and the strap buttons on the guitar makes for a good solid, reliable feel. Would I use this guitar on a gig without a backup? NO...ALWAYS have a backup, all it takes is one bad experience in a gig without a backup, and you're ruined for life, you'll always have a backup handy. Take my word for it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to deal with them yet, hopefully won't have to.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for going on 9 years, and this is by far one of the best guitars I have owned, comparing to Ibanez, Fender, Charvel...I'd even go so far to compare this guitar to Paul Reed Smith or Gibson guitars on sound, quality, etc...If it were stolen, whoever stole it better hope I don't find out who did it, even so, the cost is not that expensive, I'd probably live on Ramen noodles a while until I could buy another one. This is one of the better bang for the buck deals you'd find anywhere.

Look below for features. Been described many times. Lots of great features. My ratings are on a dollar for dollar system. For the money it is one of the best deals out there.

Sound : 10
I ususally dont give ratings, but since this site was a great help in my decision for buying this guitar, I figured I should give a little back.
This guitar is a great pallette of tones. With the real Duncan HB's and the coil tapping you can get almost any tone imaginable. Go dark and hammer out some freaky riffs, jazz runs, and great blues riffs. Throw in some distortion and youve got a great distoted blues sound all the way to some serious thrasnig and shredding, I get a wonderful harmonic response on mine, natural and pinch. You can get a pinch harmonic with such little effort. Then go single coil style and all of a sudden your nailing Chili Pepper riffs and other Strat like sounds. Im not saying it sounds exactly like a Strat (Get a Strat for that) but its pretty close and figuring what else youre getting here its even better in my eyes. I have this and an American Fender Telecaster, so between the two, I can get almost any tone I need. Great crunch, great palm muting response.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Opened up the box and had had to slightly tune each string just a tad, just because of new strings. Action was low, but not too low where you get tons of fret buzz. It does ship with pick up covers, so it does not look exactly like the pic on Musicians Friend. No problem though. Looked at everything else thoroughly and it lookes great, aside from a lottle scratch on the back of it (just a finish scratch), the finish is so glossy it will be hard to avoid that, so again, no problemo. This thing looks, sounds and plays beautifully!!

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
No rating here, as I haven thad it long enough. It is light, and seems built strong. Bruce Lee of guitars!!

Overall Rating : 10
Again I give it 10's on value for the dollar. I dont just jump in and buy something, I searched for 2 months until I decided upon this guitar. I obviously couldnt play this one before buying it since it is a Musicians Fried exclusive, however I tried out a bunch of different Schecters ant Guitar Center and loved the way they sounded and played, and these didnt even have the real Duncans, they had the Duncan designed and still sounded great. I was goign to go more expensive, lookin at Gibson, Fat Teles, PRS SE's, and Ibanez. And Schecter was definitley the best bang for the buck. For the hell of it I tried some really high priced guitar, Gibson and PRS, and I just don't get it. Thousand of dollars for a these guitars. Do you want a player or do you want a trophy that cost you a second mortgage and your afraid to play because it costs so much. The Schecter is a work horse, opening it up the staple in the boxed sliced my finger open, and I didnt realize it, and got a little blood on the guitar. I was almost going to leave it as some kind of romantic symbol, but decided against it as I didnt want this beauty tainted.
Guitars a personal thing. Looks and tone!! So try out different ones and see what works for you. Ive got this and my Tele, and they are entirely different animals, but each serves its own purpose. And above all, spend your time wisely, as it is valuable, and put it into playing and learning the guitar, all the money in the world and the "best" guitar in the world cant make up for hours of practicing and learning the skill. The guitar is merely an extension of that.

Hi, this is Rob again. I posted the heads up below about the C-1 Stealth coming with Nickel covers below.

I called both Schecter and Seymour Duncan, and finally got the answer.
Actually, I pulled the pickups to double check. The pickups are as advertised, a USA Duncan Distortion in the bridge, and USA Duncan 59 in the neck.

The only difference is the Nickel(chrome) covers. Actually I really like it. It brings out the pickups and makes the guitar look more heavy metal. After I've had the guitar for a week or so I'll post my review. As of right now the sound is phenomenal!!! Killer sound!!!

This is NOT a review, just a heads up!
I just received my C-1 Stealth from Musicians Friend.
It did NOT come with the Seymour Duncan Distortion Bridge and 59' Neck pickups as advertised. Instead it came with NICKEL Covers.

I called Musicians Friend and they said ..."oohh", then informed me that they WERE Seymour Duncan USA 59's in both positions, with Nickel Chrome covers. They knew and still sent it to me, but tried to cover it up and act surprised ...how did they know they were 59's?

I've emailed Schecter and am waiting for a response. At this point I'm not sure they are Seymour Duncan USA 59's, I'll find out. Tonight I'll play it see if I like it. I might really like it, don't know yet.
I am posting this so you are aware Schecter is now shipping the C-1 Stealth with 59's in both positions with Nickel covers. It might be better? After all the 59's are what started it all, and are an all around better pickup.

After I play it and decide, I'll post a review.
Thanks,
Rob from Ks

Features : 10
2003
24 frets
Mahogany body , Rosewood fingerboard, Grover tuners, Duncan USA pickups (Distortion in the bridge '59 in the neck), SHINY black finish with a great white banding around the body, neck, and headstock. Tone Pros Tuneamatic style bridge, and coil splitting option.

Sound : 10
I play alot of music, from metal to funk and this guitar is so versatile.
For Metal the bridge pickup is very abrasive and heavy, although i like to use both pickups at once to get a very chunky, punchy tone. This guitar acheives that plus more,

The '59 in the neck produces a vintage sound and a very nice clean with little noise when the coil is tapped.

Awesome sounding guitar, right up there with guitars that cost $1000 more.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The action on this guitar was very low from the factory, it was set up with 9's and i think it was supossed to be set up with 10's. I do get a little bit of fret buzz on the low E string, but I cannot hear it through the amp so I may not mess with it.

The finish on this Baby rocks, it has one of the deepest black finishes I have ever saw on any guitar. The only problem I have is that it is incredibly hard not to get those tiny, little surface scratches on the clear coat, but overall with the paint job and the cool banding i am more than impressed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar seems to be built solid as a rock, but like others said I'm not planning on dropping it anytime soon. The tuners are large and very quality, and the strap buttons are large, but I probably will go with strap locks, After alot of gigging I've found that is the only way.

I would gig without a backup with this guitar, but only if i had to.

Customer Support : 10
I've called them twice so far, and they have been gracious and friendly.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 16 years, I also own an Ampeg vh 140 head and 2 100 watt cabinets, a digitech rp-12 processor, an Ibanez rg-240 dx guitar, and a Gibson Les Paul standard ( I actually like this stealth better).

I love the Duncan pick ups in this guitar, you can get so many sounds with them just from toggling the switches and playing with them. If this guitar was stolen, I'd probably cry lol.

Korean-made strat-style, 24 frets, volume for each pickup, tone w/ push-pull pot for coil-tapping (really cool), 3-position toggle switch, Seymour Duncan Distorsion humbucker in bridge, Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in neck, Tune-O-Matic bridge, carved mahogahony body, set maple neck. Great features, especially for a guitar in this price range.

Sound : 10
I play mostly metal (especially Rage and Metallica) and classic rock, and this hits both dead-on. Bridge pickup has great crunch, and when coil-tapped can get a good Strat-like sound, almost like SRV. Neck sounds great tapped or not, perfect for clean tones, not really made for distorsion, but thats why the bridge is a Seymour Duncan DISTORSION pickup. When tapped it can be a little noisy on my Crate GLX-120, but I think it has more to do with the amp. When I play both pickups together, I can get a good ZZ Top-like sound. I run it straight into the GLX since it has built-in effects, and I can get just about any sound I could imagine.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Action was perfect when I got it, but I got it used, so I think the guy who had it before had the action fixed. The pickups came with different kinds of screws in each, and the neck pickup got a little loose, but I fixed it easily. Nothing else to complain about except some chips, but like I said I got it used. Finish is great.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Very sturdy. Great strap buttons, I wouldnt be able to take my strap off of it if I wanted to. I'd gig with a backup, but thats just because I'm paranoid.

I've been playing for over 2 years, and I own the Crate GLX-120, a Washburn G46S acoustic and a Yamaha Fat Strat-ripoff. It I lost this guitar, I'd probably get a brand-new one just because it fits my playing style perfect. I love the coil-tap, toggle switch w/ the 2 volumes (Rage stuff) and the fact that it has real Seymour Duncans and not those Duncan-Designed pickups. I didnt comapare it to anything, I just decided to buy it because it had the features I wanted. Its a great value and its a way better guitar than I am a player.

You've read all the specs on this one, the stand out thing about this guitar is the top quaility hardware. USA Duncan's that sound great, Tonepro bridge(that locks in place), coil tapping and Grover tuners.

Sound : 10
Sounds great. My USA Jackson RR-1T has the same pickups and bridge as the Stealth. They sound very similar and I couldn't be more pleased. My Les Paul custom has a darker tone but the Stealth has more bite to it. Sounds like a quaility USA guitar, really.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Guitar came set up pretty good. I tune down and had to set it up but the quality hardware made it a breeze. Finish is very nice and the access to the 24th fret is killer. Binding is a nice touch and it gives the guitar a custom look.

The sound is a beautiful palette of tones. The '59 at the bridge is so pristine and with the coil tap engaged it satisfies the most devoted strat lover. The Duncan distortion is so powerful it made my TB25R scream! Contrary to previous posts I think engaging both p'ups sound midrangy and solid, good for palm muting. i can't stress the pleasure of hearing real USA Seymour Duncans and not some Korean knockoff!

Made in Korea in '02. This guitar has a lot of cool features: 24 frets on a rosewood fretboard, the only inlay is at the 12th fret; Mahogany "Strat" style body with a curved top and creme binding around the body, neck, and headstock; Grover tuners and Tonepro's hardtail bridge(awesome)with string-through-body feature; 2 GENUINE Seymour Duncan Pickups(extremely awesome): a distortion in the bridge and a '59 at the neck;electronics:2 volume knobs and a tone knob that is also a coil tap switch for the bridge pickup when pulled out. Came with allen wrenches and cable. Black Finish.

I am in a band that plays a variety of cover songs, mostly Classic Rock, Rock, Metal and Punk. My setup is as follows:Schecter C-1 Stealth to Crybaby wah, BOSS Super Overdrive, MXR Phase 90, BOSS Super Chorus, and BOSS Noise Suppressor. This then goes to a Reissue Marshall JCM-800 head and 4x12 cab or Fender Stage 160. This guitar is the cover-band special: It has great tone ranging from powerfull lead tone to crystal clean thanks to the coil tap. The Distortion bridge pickup has very high output, good for distortion but bad for clean(unless it is tapped); The '59 is smooth all around and works awesome for a good rythm sound. Ive had this guitar for about 2 weeks and used it at about 12 shows. Ive found that I can get a variety of good sounds out of it. The only thing I didn't like about it was that if you have both pickups at full volume and switch b/t the bridge and neck, there is a difference in volume because the bridge has such high output. Overall it has a great sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
When I first got this guitar, the action was a just a little high for my feel, but I fixed that the first day. I messed around with the pickup height until I got the sound I liked. No flaws at all in this guitar. It comes ready to play out of the box

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I haven't had this guitar long enough to say how it will handle during a bunch of live shows, but im not worried that it won't be able to handle it. Every thing seems solid. I'm replacing the strap buttons with Straplocks, because I have bad luck with my straps slipping off of the buttons. I'll let you know after a few months of gigging how this guitar held up.

I have been playing guitar for about 6 years and own 3 other guitars: a B.C. Rich Warlock w/ a Duncan Distortion in the bridge; Squier Strat with Fender Pickups; Ibanez 7 string. In my opinion, I think that the Schecter has all the features of these guitars, except the 7 strings, and has great tone. My favorite features are the pickups and the coil tap switch. If it were stolen, I would kick the person's ass who stole it and get it back, otherwise I would definitely get a new one.

Features : 10
Made in Korea, 2002. Six string, 24 fret, set-neck solidbody guitar. 2 humbuckers, three-way selector, separate volume for each and a master tone. Bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Distortion, neck is a Seymour Duncan '59 (these are real Duncans, NOT Duncan Design). Body is mahogany, neck is maple, fingerboard is rosewood. Body and neck are finished in gloss black, with white/black/white binding on the body, neck, and headstock. Body style is double cutaway with a back scoop, like a strat, but with an arched top; sort of a PRS kind of style. The neck is 24 3/4 scale and rounded, very much like a Les Paul. No inlays except for the twelfth fret. Tonepros locking tune-o-matic bridge with strings going through the body (no stop tailpiece). Grover tuning machines. All hardware is finished in black chrome (very cool!). Came with an allen wrench for the truss rod, a wrench for the bridge, and a really crappy cable. For the price, the features are excellent - the Tonepros bridge and Seymour Duncans themselves are worth almost $200.00

Sound : 9
With an all-mahogany body and a Duncan Distortion in the bridge, this guitar is very well-suited to hard rock and metal tones. Tons of low end with a really pleasing "mushiness" in chords. I play through a Line 6 Pod Pro, usually through the Dual Rectifier setting, and it sounds killer. Very fat sounds for chording and lead. Surprisingly, harmonics don't sustain as well as i would have thought; I think this is mainly because of the pickups, as I have a C-1 Plus with a Duncan JB that has much better harmonics (but I like the Distortion better overall for rhythm playing). As its name implies, the Distortion pickup is at its best when played dirty; through clean settings, it really fuzzes things up and isn't too versatile. The '59 in the neck is pretty bright for a neck pickup. It works very well, as it doesn't get too muddy either when distorted or clean and retains an almost glassy sound. Overall, the sounds are comparable to a Gibson Les Paul, but with more low-end chunk. I wish the bridge pickup had a more versatile clean sound, but then it wouldn't be as good as it is for distortion.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
For a Korean-made, mid-priced guitar, the workmanship is excellent. The setup was pretty good. I lowered the action a little, raised the pickups a little, changed the intonation a bit, and it plays great. No dead spots on the neck, no finish flaws, no other problems that I've found.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Seems solid. I haven't had it long enough to judge its durability, but I've had a C-1 Plus that has been my main guitar for a year and a half now. The only problem I've had with that guitar is that I've had to replace like three volume pots because they are cheap as hell. However, since they only cost 2.50 apiece and take like ten minutes to change, it's not that big a deal.

Customer Support : 10
I lost a string ferrule from my C-1 Plus once while changing strings last year. I called Schecter customer support to ask where I could order another one from, and they shipped one out to me right away for no charge. Can't complain about that.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing guitar for about ten years, and while this isn't the best or most expensive guitar I own, I think it's a great sounding, great playing, and great looking guitar that I wouldn't cry over if it got broken - because at this price, I could just go out and buy another. I bought this guitar mainly because I have a C-1 Plus that I customized with a Tonepros bridge and Duncan pickups. Total price of that guitar with the modifications: $700.00. This guitar has the EXACT same features as my modded guitar, but for only $499. I think I actually like this one better than the Plus - it has a fatter tone, and it looks really, really cool. Killer guitar for the price - maybe the best guitar you'll find for under $500.
