Product: Schecter C-7 Classic
Price Paid: US $350

Features : 8
24 frets, volume and tone control, 3 way toggle switch, Duncan Designed pickups, brown finish with cream binding on the body, tune-o-matic bridge.
It has everything you need, but could do with some more.

Sound : 9
I love the distinct variety of sounds I can get out of this. Hi's Mid's Lo's. I have no problem getting whatever I want out of it. It has a nice bright, and punchy sound with the tone on one end, and a more muted sound at the other end. Good for metal.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I got this guitar used, but it was well constructed.

Reliability/Durability : 7
No. Before using this guitar live, you should switch the 3-way toggle. Mine seems to have a bit of trouble switching from the lead humbucker to the rythm. Sometimes it cuts out entirely, sometimes it works. Replace the switch and it's a very reliable guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 9
I like this guitar, and would definately get another if I had to. I couldn't be more satisfied unless they fixed the toggle.

2000, made somewhere out of US, then sent to US to be inspected, 24 frets, carved flame maple top, volume tone and 3 way selector switch, 2 duncan design humbuckers, the neck is maple with rosewood fret board, cherry burst, tune o matic bridge, grover tuners, came with dumb short cable

Sound : 8
Suits my style quite well (metallica, slipknot, mudvayne, incubus, deftones, etc.). I play through a 250 watt hybrid crate half stack (celestions in the cab) and it sounds good through it. Pretty thin sound but I think it is due to the thin strings. I play bluses heavy metal and stuff and this fits the music pretty well The only thing that is kinda annoying is having to watch out for the low B when playing stuff in E (stuff that is played mostly on a 6 string). I don't really like the pickups that much and will probably put DiMarzio pickups in.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Finnish is great; looks good and seems durable. The pickups were set up right and the action was pretty good. The only flaws in the guitar was that the tone knob was kinda loose, and the the three way slecter switch will need to be worked on down the road because it doesn't seem like it will hold up (same with the volume).

Reliability/Durability : 8
Seems really durable (besides the electronics). The tuners are nice and it is well made. The strap buttons seem solid but I will be putting lockin on sooner or later. I would gig without a backup but I usually have one anyway for a backup so it isn't a problem

Havn't had to deal with them yet I just got this a week ago and it is has held up.

I have been playing guitar for a about 6 years and played bass before guitar. I have an accustic and another 7 seven string. I want to buy a six string guitar someday soon. If it were lost or stolen I would probably try to find it but if I couldn't I would get another one. I like the finnish, the tuners, the body, and the sound. Don't like how the electronics are (seem not durable). It is by far better than the ESP LTD 207. I have the 107 and it is okay but I like this one better. I wish is had seperate volume and tone knobs for each pickup. I also wish is string through And I also wish is had locking tuners. And I also wish it had EMGs or DiMarzios.
Get a Schecter instead of Ibanez, ESP, or any other company This one rocks !
