Sorry, am not actually looking at it presently, so i'm processing from memory...
Korean made, 22 frets, volume and tone plus three mini-humbuckers. Not a lot of variation, but to be honest, it isn't a big deal. Basswood I believe covered with sparkling blue metallic paint job(not ideal choice but for the price I can't quibble). Jazzmaster-inspired shape. Hard tail.
Really, like a useful Jazzmaster/Jaguar without the Idiosyncrasies associated with these oldies.

Sound : 9
Full sounding, neither here nor there precisely. A voice all of its own, unusual in fact. I have only tried it through my ye olde Marshall Valvestate and to be honest, would be better through a Fender amp or similar, possibly.
Very impressive, nonetheless.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
It was 2nd hand, and there's a bit of tweaking to do which I still haven't done (fretbuzz!), but it really is the most solid and together guitar I've touched.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Possibly bombproof.

I have Antoria Les Paul, Fender Bullet Deluxe. All three are totally different (well, apart from being electrics) and i'd like to keep it that way. If you want something different, with a bit of oophm and like the jaguar/jazzmaster shape, and you're on a budget then this is for you.

a smooth rosewood fretboard. 3 duncan minihumbuckers, Wilkinson tremelo bridge and a brilliant solid basswood body gives this baritone an amaising tone

Sound : 10
for a baritone this has a wonderful tone smooth and rich but its also realy good for useing in some more funk sounds when using heavier baritone strings to make a band sound using 2 basses

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
excelent set up with magnificant pickups slammed in
i only found one problem and that was i needed to get the bridge alterd to fit some beefier strings
the guitar its self has a beautiful rich sunburnt colour

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
ive used this barritone live when a guitar cant cut it and u want that rich bass sound and infact have played whole gigs using this guitar by itself even soloing on it you can do magnificant thingsa with it the versatility is imense for a type of guitar usualy used as a cheap bass

Customer Support : 10
12 month warranty and the customer service was brill

Overall Rating : No Opinion
as ive said a magnificant versitile baritone with buckets of tone oooozing from it

It seems that there are several different sets of specs for these HELLCAT guitars. Mine has mini-GROVER (non-locking) tuners, a GOTOH TONEPRO tunamatic bridge with through body hardtail string set, flat fingerboard (12-14"), big frets (6100?). The pickups are apparently duncan designed or duncan...didn't find a label inside. The vol pot is CTS, the tone is a push-pull. 5 way toggle, with push-pull means ten combinations. Two piece neck allows for greater angle on the headstock. graphite nut. The frets are terrific...beautiful job. Overall a tremendous job for the money...for any money, really. Something a little different as well.

Sound : 9
Very resonant acoustically...perhaps due to the hardtail. I have 6 solid bodies and this is the loudest unplugged by far. Pickup combos are very versatile. Strat to Firebird sounds available. I'm not sure that I've identified its' signature sounds yet.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Absolutely great here. The frets in particular are outstanding.

It's amazing what the Korean shops are doing now, particularly when the parts bin looks like something out of a Fender or Gibson custom shop...Grover, Gotoh, CTS, Switchcraft, Duncan, Dunlop (?...don't know for sure on that one). I've got a lot of good guitars, including 2 US fenders and 2 Gibsons. In terms of playability and build quality this Hellcat is right there with them.

2 piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard. 14" radius, 3 duncan designed minihumbuckers, Wilkinson trem bridge, basswood body, and locking tuners

Sound : 8
Well this is a big surprise!!!.. This thing sounds great. I bought it on a whim and got it really really really cheap. $225 So I figured what the heck I can't go wrong. The bridge pick up really sings and I like the neck and middle too. With the 5 position switch I havent much explored the in between position sounds but I like this crazy little axe.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I have to admit although I don't the the asian locking tuners the guitar is solid and well built..

Reliability/Durability : 9
I would take it anywhere and it seems really dependable...

I have been playing 15 years and I would recommend one of these guitars to anyone looking for an alternative to a firebird. The Hellcat lends itself very well to blues and rock, but not as much so to heavy metal. It is a great addition to anyone looking for something a little different sounding.

This is a great guitar. 2004 made in korea. Built like a tank. 24 frets. three mini humbuckers with coil-tap. Alder body. Ivory finish. String-thru body bridge. Solid tuners. Big frets. Nice finish and the neck is just awesome.

Sound : 9
This guitar sounds awesome! When played through my ampeg vt-40, it sounds punchy and thick. A nice mix between humbuckers and single coils. Coil tap makes it so you can get pretty much any strat tone you want. When played through a yamaha t-50, this guitar reallllly sings. The only guitar that I like using the middle pick-up. I play mostly rock, but its amazing for Jazz stuff too. Probably handles blues well too.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
When I first ordered it, I thought it would be kindve cheap, since its made in korea. But this thing feels reallly really sturdy. Amazing sustain. Schecter also did a wonderful job of setting it up. No real flaws I can think of.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Havent had any problems yet.

Comes with a life time warrenty.

Overall Rating : 10
Awesome awesome guitar. Really good for the money. I wouldnt recommend it to any hardcore metal fans, but its awesome for anything else. I look forward to many years playing it.

Bsaically a strat w/ 3 mini humbuckers instead. It gets an 8 because I don't remember there being any coil tap functions. I played it at Guitar center. They wanted $1450, which was too much.

The other reviewer who paid $600 got a great deal.

Sound : 10
Very familar feel for a Strat player. The mini-humbuckers are still quite Fendery, but not quite as clean and unforgiving. I think you could sub this for a Strat a lot more easily than for a Les Paul.

It has a unique texture that would appeal to Strat players looking to extend their tonal palate, or to Les Paul players who just can't stand single coils.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
As a Tom Anderson Classic owner, this guitar did not have the silkiness I associate with that guitar. It does feel and look like a very well made guitar. Clearly high end pro class.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Again, clearly high end pro class

Customer Support : No Opinion
No Idea. BTW, I did not buy this guitar. But I will, if I can get one at a better price than $1450.

Overall Rating : 8
16 yrs. exp. G&L , Tom Anderson, Fernandes Strats and Teles. Fender Amps.

Guitar gets an 8, because a little more tonal versatility should be expected from a 3 humbucker model at this price.

1997 California-made guitar in Candy Apple Red finish. Two piece alder body that's kind of a cross between a Strat and maybe a Jazzmaster with a longer top horn. Nice looking shape and balances well sitting or standing. Medium weight at about 7.5 lbs. Pearloid pickguard looks great with the Candy Apple Red finish.
The Hellcat has an unusual pick-up configuration with three Seymour Duncan mini-humbuckers. The neck and middle pickups are their Vintage model, and the bridge is a Seymourized. It has a chrome three way switch, a volume and a tone knob. The three way switch gives you the neck, neck+bridge, and bridge pickups. If you pull out the tone knob, it adds the middle pickup to whatever you have set with the three way. Thus, you can also have neck/middle, bridge/middle, and neck/middle/bridge. The only setting you can't get is middle only (no loss in my opinion).
Bolt-on maple neck with rosewood board with a light amber tinge to the lacquer to give a little bit of vintage flavor. Unusually for a Fender style guitar, it has a volute. Headstock has kind of a cheesy 60's cheap guitar shape (but it looks cool) and is painted to match the body. The neck is of medium depth and not too thin. Fender scale length of 25.5". Has sperzel locking tuners and a graphite nut. 22 medium jumbo frets.

Sound : 10
Despite the mini-humbuckers, this guitar is firmly in the Fender rather than Gibson tonal camp. Sounds wonderful clean. The neck pickup is clear, transparent and woody. Not the least bit muddy or nasal. The bridge has plenty of bite, but is fatter and more usable than a normal Strat bridge. The in-between sounds are likewise very good sounding. The middle/bridge sound isn't quite as sweet as a good Strat, but still very nice (probably because of the higher output bridge pickup). Neck+bridge pickups together gives a great Tele sound. Both the volume and tone knobs are useful. The volume control retains highs as you turn it down, so by lowering the setting, you can get a more traditional Strat output.
I was really surprised at how clear and transparent it sounds. You would swear it had a great set of single coils rather than humbuckers. Incredible variety of strat/tele tones.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I bought this used, so I can't comment on the factory's set-up. Former owner had it set with higher action than I like and with the pickups at seemingly random heights. I lowered the action and raised the pickups to a more even height, and it plays great.
The fretwork on this guitar is outstanding, very similar to what you'll find on a Tom Anderson. Each fret end is smoothly rounded and the crowning work is exceptional. The fretboard is smoothly rounded on the edges and the overall result is a great playing guitar.
The neck pocket is as tight as I've ever seen and the nut is cut to exactly the right depth.
The only finishing flaw I can find on the guitar is that if you look closely on the top and back of the body, you can make out where the two pieces of alder were joined together. Pretty insignificant.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Should be very tough and durable.

Don't know.

Super guitar. Schecter deserves more name recognition than they have. I'm surprised this pickup configuration isn't more popular. Highly recommended - I think I got a real steal.
