I love the warmth of the cedar top. The twin-source Quantum II electronics are are very easy to use and seem to be made quite well. A built-in tuner would've been nice, but I have one in my effects loop anyway. I love the mini-jumbo body style with it's smooth cutaway. It comes with a very innovative (Tric)case - very nice.

I play mostly contemporary Christian worship music and classic folk/rock. I play through my Ibanez Troubadour TA-35, it's an analog acoustic amp which gives me a nice rich warm sound, but I can also adjust the mids to get a nice hard edge if I need to. I also hook into my Church's PA system. This guitar sounds excellent in either situation. I usually run it through a Fishman modeling pedal (after the tuner), then an MXR Dyna-Comp, and finally through a Boss EQ pedal then on into the pre-amp. That's all I really need because my amp has a built in spring reverb and dual control chorus (pedal switched).
All that said, even unplugged this guitar sounds way better than I would've expected for it's price. As a matter of fact (people call me crazy), I traded in my Martin D18 for this guitar and gobs of store credit, and I have no regrets.
Action, Fit, & Finish

It came with nice low action and not even a hint of string buzz. The bookmatched cedar top is perfectly done. Overall the workmanship is flawless. That's the difference a handmade instrument has.
Reliability/Durability

I believe it's built for the long haul - it's holding up very well. It's the only guitar I'm playing right now - don't feel like I need a back-up.

The lifetime warranty is very nice. But if you want to order accessories don't try and contact Seagull directly, and their website only has very basic details about their models. You'll have to do everything through a Seagull authorized dealer.

It's hard to explain, but you can just tell by the feel that this is a quality instrument. I wouldn't want to be without it.
If you want to get a Martin or Taylor that compares in sound quality, you'd have to start in the 3500.00 range. Trust me on this. I had a 2000.00 Martin and the sound quality was equal.
