Features : 5
I believe this is a '57 but in any case, it is a Jimmy Reed model guitar manufactured by Silvertone. It is a hollow body design with a single rounded cutaway and features two semi-lipstick pickups. I say "semi" because they are not lipsticks but look similar and half the width. Weird pickups. It has a 3 position pickup selector and 2 vols. and 2 tone knobs. I am really not sure of the wood type on this guitar (but would like to know) because I can find hardly any info at all. All I know is that it was made for blues guitarist Jimmy Reed.

Sound : 7
This guitar is only to play with every once in awhile. I do not do gigs with it or anything. It is fun to play because it definitely has a sound of its own and it isn't very noisy at all considering it's manufacturer and age. It has a very bright sound even with it's deep hollow body. Must be the pickups. I was curious to see what a PAF or some similar pickup would sound like in it but can't bear to cut on it. It holds sentimental value for me cause my Pop gave it to me.
I have ran it through my '65 Fender Bandmaster and it sounded killer. A really full sound when cranked up. Also ran it through my JCM 800 with some really cool results when the ditortion was pushed. Definitely a sound all it's own and in a cool way too!

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
The action on this guitar is a little high but nothing that a little neck reset would not fix. The electronics are intact and still work after so many years without any scratchiness whatsoever. not sure what kind of pickups are in it but they sound pretty good. This guit is still in pretty good shape with only a few minor scratches and dents.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I would not take this guitar on a gig with me cause it's one of my guitars that only gets played rarely. I do not let anyone touch this guitar because like I said, it holds sentimental value to me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
whats customer support?

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 25 years and this guitar is not one of my main guitars but one my dad gave me years ago. He has since passed on and I would be sad if it were stolen because there is no way to replace it. It's monetary value (if it has one) is of no consequence to me. I love this guitar and could not bear to part with it.
