1963 Harmony/USA made. 2 pickups(dearmonds)with wooden bridge and trapeeze tail. Black finish with gold sparkle (very retro). 3 per side open backed tuners. Thin maple neck with rosewood board, white/black binding and nice large block inlays. Controls include a neck volume and tone and a bridge volume and tone. There is also a "blender" control which can be used to mix the pickups. (neat phase/echo sounds). Each control is labeled and set on a seal shaped white pickgaurd. Very COOL looks. (reminds me of a Duo Jet). OSSC.

Has that retro sound. Can be warm and soft. Can also rock with a vintage overdrive with massive sustain. I play jazz, RB, SoftRock....
Pickups are quiet, however when overdriven they talk back a little..

Nice low action. Easy to adjust. Narrow neck width. I have 10's on it and they give you some nice lows...Guitar is VERY light..(semi hollow) I believe this guitar was designed much like the old Danelectro's when it came to the body. Very nice aged black with gold sparkles. Original strap buttons are plastic. Mine has all the controls labeled and the original control knobs (my guitar tech was amazed that I found one in such original condition)

I use this guitar for instrumental gigs when that vintage vibe is needed. I would always have a backup. I just read a story in Guitar Player magazine (october) on a guitarist who uses this same guitar as one of his main touring axes. (shows the Jupiter on stage in the picture). Case Closed!!

35 years of playing. I have many guitars (fenders, jacksons, carvins, Gibsons..)I play all of them both at home and on gigs. I collect 50-60's american made "budget" guitars. They play great!!! I was looking for this exact model for my collection. I payed $230.00. That was a steal for this kind of american made "vintage" instrument. I recently saw the same guitar for auction (not nearly as original as mine) and it sold for $400.00!
