1951 Silvertone Archtop: I think these were made by either Gibson or Harmony... (some years made in furniture stores) This one (mine)is a fine tobbaco sunburst in good shape. Long scale, round gibson-style neck easily playable... but not for tiny hands. Big loud sound, as the old archtops made. A great accoustic blues box. No rods in the neck.

Still here after 53 yrs. I think it might last. I bought it used. But wellt aken care of no hacks or raving gouges. All original hardware... a tough old archtop.

I have a bunch of guitars. This is a peach. I have a couple of electric archtops and this one is great. Deeper because it's accoustic.
