2005, Indonesia, 24 Frets, Agathis body, 1 volume, 1 Tone, with 3 way toggle. H/H, Samick open Humbuckers, don't know model number of pups.
Maple Bolt on Neck, (feels like a strat neck) satin finish. Body is shaped very aggressive, black metal flake awesome paint job. No tremolo, Non locking tuners, feel like Grovers, but not marked. Neck has perfect feel, as I said, I can't feel the difference between Stratocaster neck and this one. Comes with cheapo strap, cord I threw away, etc.

I play Blues mostly, some rock. Using it with a Behringer Half stack BG412V V-tone. Sound is fat mean and crunchy, grungy on neck pup, Bridge is more jingly jangly. Full sustain, impressive because it is not string thru body. Lots of variety in sound. Sounds super with effects (and this Behringer has a bunch of mean effects) I like it, I intend to pinstripe the outside edge in grey metallic, install a polished aluminum pickguard with a B-5 Bigsby also.

Guitar was super setup out of the box. Pup toggle was a little loose, (but when aren't they when new). Pickups adjusted great, no problems, Bridge routing checked out o.k. Saw and heard no flaws. For the price I paid, I am truly impressed!

Should not be a problem playing live, Hardware seems tough, Finish is beutiful, have not had it long enough to put any dings in it.

Made by Samick with Silvertone name. If it is like other Samick's it is as tough as an M1 Abrams and the warranty will be honored. I have dealt with Samick and they are a great company. Good people.
