I'm not sure how old this thin is but most from the early 60's had truss rods. THis one dose not so I've been toldby Stratotone experts that it is older than most. it is a sunburst finnish which I guess is common for this guitar. IT has two realy thin pickups sort of a single coil sound but in an short soap bar look. It is a hollow bodw without an F hole. Has the usual tail peice for an archtop. I like the tone that I get out of the hollow body it realy rings.

Sound : 9
I am beginning to realy like this guitar. The pickups are OK, I think I read that they were made by Dizmaro or some knowen company in the 60's. I maostly play solw psychadelic stuff with a small stone/ boss delay / cry baby / a big muff / and an dano ocitve pedel. Because the pickups are so old they are begining not to pick up certian strings on the neck pickup. I've thougt about replaceing them with lace sensors / puting a new pick gard to cover them and updating the electronics. Also Wanted to rout out an F hole on it. But a few colector sites keep telling not to do anything to it. I'm thinking hay I like the sound of it and would like to make it more palyable. If I do nothing with it I'll eventualy stop palying it since it dose not pick up all the sound and then it will ust collect dust.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Hmmmm Factory......I was not alive yet.
Liek I said pick ups need updateing. Being so old it is rely beat on. When I got it, it had not been played for 10-15 years. The tuners were brok and I was damed to spent $50 for clasic reproductions so I picked up some new tuners and routed out the head stock so that they'd fit. Being so Old I'm not giving an opinion on this section

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
This guitar will last. Parts will fall off and break but it still keeps working. I figure that if it has lasted this long it will keep on going

Customer Support : No Opinion
They do not exist any more..

Overall Rating : 9
I play this thing more than my Ibanez RG470. I liek the thicker neck, and the tone form the hollow body is great. also it has no weight.
