It will withstand live playing, two years and only one noticable cut on body
bridge with wammy still works
strap buttons tend to unscrew a bit after a while no big deal though
very dependable, unless in my rare case a pick up malfunctioned oh well
i would use it in a gig

ive been playing for 2 years, this my first guitar, have a silvertone amp
i would not buy it again i would rather search around
i wish i had compared it to other guitars
i wish it had better electronics
this is a guitar for an absolute beginner, its a guitar to lean how to play and after you find that you are pretty good then upgrade to a different guitar

Finish is sleek, Black and hot, solid body, rosewood neck, total re-man of earlier spectrum line, now made in Austin, and distributed through London! Strat Style Electric Guitar. Solid Hardwood Body,
Rosewood fingerboard, Diecast machine head tuners, 22 fret, 1 volume and 2 tone controls, Fender styled 5 way pickup selector. What I know about Westone guitars is, well, not much. I bought a Westone guitar that is a real hum-dinger, but it plays like a dream and I got interested in the company. The Westone brand name was purchased by Musik Meyer in Germany (Sprechen sie Deutch?), and FCN leased it from them, they were the original distributors, and manufaturers in the 70's.

The sound is sweet, not ragged, mid to rich tone. Seems almost indestructible, redesign was by Sid Poole prior to his death for FCN.
Using a Peavy amp 15w.. Feels good in the hands, weight approx 25lbs. A good shoulder and steady hand a must! One jack in, machine head tuners, 22 fret, 1 volume and 2 tone controls. Average but nice.

Excellent finish, I saw it drop and bounce, and survive with only a small scratch. Nothing loose, nice saddle, no grating sounds, and suprisingly the diecast tuners are o.k. Solid Hardwood Body.

It's a tough little guitar, Solid Hardwood Body,
simple and sweet sound. Durable, Dependable, holds tone well, and I think you can crank on it fine. Wilkinson "Classic" style Vibrato bridge assembly and 5 way pickup selector that emulates the original 50's and 60's styled instruments that the Spectrums grew from.
