Features : No Opinion
Humbucker, 5 way switch, yada, yada, yada...looks nice...kind of cobalt blue...

Sound : No Opinion
Well I got this in a trade and I couldnt wait to set it up and try it. The strings were a mile off the neck but the neck looked straight, so I cranked the saddles down and...not bad... action was good after that with no buzz...hmmm. I plugged it up and the first thing I noticed was the humbucker sounds kinda weak..and the overall sound is "thin" Im using an rp250 through a pa and I get a rich strat sound with my eric johnson artist series, but the squire came off as thin but not so bad for an entry guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
Guitar looks really nice...kind of light...havent tore it apart...yet...but I think its a lamenant body and a rosewood fret board..Neck was actually straight and it stays in tune.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
who knows... I woulnt play seriously with it, but it might surprise you..

Solid purple finish. (They call it Burgundy. Whatever, It's purple.)
22 Fret maple neck, HSS pickup configuration, Fender -Style Tremolo.
2 tone and a volume knob, standard 5-way Strat switch. Made in Indonesia.
Features are pretty much what one would expect from an entry-level guitar.

Sound : 5
Bright tone, sometimes a bit too bright- even the humbucker could be tinny. Zero shielding, so when either single pickup is on, hum's the word. This guitar has been used with a Marshall Valvestate (which it sounds best with) to DI for recording, and it's OK, especially after passing it through an effects box with some EQ. Low end s still missing, though. Again, for $150, you get what you pay for. (Note: A little shielding on my part cleaned up the noise issue greatly.)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The set up was good, the action just right for my playing style. Not great for thrashing, as my metal-attuned friends have fussed. The pickups were kinda low for my taste, so a little screwdriver action, and they were up where they belong. The finish was excellently done, and everything was well set up. Very good for a cheap guitar

Reliability/Durability : 7
This guitar's been to all of my gigs, and hasn't had any parts fail in the slightest. I can't comment on the strap buttons, because as a rule, I pull them off immediately and replace them with Straploks. Would I use it without a backup? No, but that's just because I'm paranoid, and bring at least three electrics to every gig.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've had it a while, and have no clue about the warranty. Never needed it.

Overall Rating : 7
It's an entry level guitar- it's built to look like its more expensive cousins, but that's it. It's got a good neck and body, and the tremolo's well built. Replace the tuning machines with some good locking tuners, slap in some hotter pickups, shield the damned thing, and it's a good axe.

Cheap "Squire By Fender" (USD 150-200), crafted in China, SStratocaster style. cheap tuners and pick-ups (HSS), 5-way selector etc. Black metalic, very cool design. Probably one of best in that price category.

Sound : 9
Surprisely sound is good! Strat's sound is ok, but if You use distortion (any model), ther is a problem to get clean overdriven tone
on first 3 strings, because of wood/pickups I guess. Humbacker sound is good too, I like it really.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Set-up is poor. There no any shield inside except little coil
glued on a pickup shield where pots located. In fact, to electromagnetic shield at all. Any electronic are china no-name. So, there are some noise problems. Pickup selector noisy.
Though factory set-up of bridge and strings was good.

Reliability/Durability : 1
Very poor! I got some problem during first year of using (I'm not plaiyng outside, only at home). First of all, there are deformation of nut - it made from some soft plastic and
when you use strings of different sizes. So, strings are gouig down and I got a tinkling sound even on open G string.
Switch became noisy after 6 monts. But main problem I got is deformation of fretwires - one day some of them started to throw out
neck, so playing is impossible right now - many thinkles in a different frets (2,4,6,7,11)and I need a repair them.

No warranty at all here in Russia.

Overall Rating : 3
I hate low reliability, though sound is very good for this price.
Anyway, any chinese goutars are inpredictable, but I'll never buy it again. Advice: collect more money and buy better, not "Made in China" instrument. If you even just kearn, be careful - you can got same problems, but learning without pleasure is bad learning.
