Features : 8
Made in China, 2008. Standard 21 fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Solid top Strat style alder body with a very nice tobacco sunburst finish. S/S/H pickup setup with 1 volume, 2 tones, and 5 way switching. Typical inexpensive tuners and Strat style trem. Includes the typical wrenches and cheap-o cable.

Sound : 9
I ran it through my Boss blues driver into my little Fender Champion 30 watt practice amp. Sounds nice clean or with the blues driver (boss chorus, vox wah). Typical Strat versatility. Plus the addition of the humbucker in the bridge position. Covers a nice range, light and quacky to deep and soulful.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Not sure how it came from the factory, but I'm assuming Zarkie Music did a bit of a set up on it. Out of the box intonation was nearly perfect and action was nice and low with no fret buzz. Pickups could do with a little adjustment, a little low.

Hardware and finish were excellent. Again, the tobacco sunburst is beautiful.

Reliability/Durability : 8
The guitar feels solid. Typical $200 guitar. I'm sure it will hold up fine for light gigging. I wouldn't take it on the road as my only guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't dealt with the manufacture or dealer, however the dealer does provide lifetime warranty and setups.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing drums, bass, guitar for 20+ years. This guitar is the 8th in the current version of the collection. I would buy this guitar again. It is a solid guitar with a great feel and sound. Overall this guitar is an amazing value, I have to give this a 10.

I hope to see Stagg continue to produce low cost instruments of this quality.
