I never write much of anything but on my ne Spirit 3400 I could write for days. Out of the box fromartist relations, perfect, awsome, unbelievable, etc; Gibson watch out these guys have you beat hands down and in co unceartin terms.
From the abalone bound headstock to the cool way the strings attached through the body, not only a work of artbut, the playability and tone variations kept me going until 3:AM!
Grover imperial tuners, Lace Arena pick ups, 1-vol, 1-tone, three way selcetor w/pan control and what they call a virtual tone circuit that adds not only to the mids. But, the highs and bass as well. The neck is bound rose wood with abalone inlay running parallel on the neck with mother of pearl markers. The flame maple top is exquisite the finish has a depth to it that makes you feel you could stick your hand through it and touch the flame maple.
For a 335 style guitar it doesn't weigh anything, unlike my dady's 25lb. gibson and you can see the company spared nothing in its manufacture.
