Features : 10
Year unknown, gold Gibson ES295 clone reminiscent of Scotty Moore's. Locking tuners, 20 frets, bound body/neck/fholes, bigsby like tremolo w/tuneomatic bridge, mother of pearl inlay, probably Korean make. 2 vol/tone pots. Big hollowbody with 2 P90 pickups.

Sound : 10
Brilliant rich tone...neck is deep and full while the bridge is not piercing bright...just right if you ask me. Clean tones are so pure and crystalline...with some gain, it sounds very Setzer like in tone.
Really all you could ask for in tone, except for heavy metal of course. So resonant, it sounds like an acoustic unplugged.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Arrived with the fretboard separating from the neck. Needed set up upon return and the fretboard was dry as a bone! Gold flake finish is beautiful but there were some scuffs on top, to be expected as he converted the humbuckers to P90's and added the bigsby style trem.
The pickup toggle is acting up, will need replacement or resolder.
Fret work is top notch...bends are a dream on this thing, although there are some dead spots on the fretboard...perhaps some truss rod tweaking will fix that.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Seems to be solidly built, just a work of art to look at! Strap buttons are firm but as i mentioned before, the pickup switch is
acting up.

Customer Support : 5
Here's the rub...after it arrived damaged, I wanted a new one. Sent it back and was told I could have it repaired in a few weeks or wait a couple of months to have a new one built. He was very impatient on the phone and even called my guitar tech a 'pussy' for not wanting to do the repair himself. Took over 6 weeks but it came back repaired. Let's just say, he makes a great product but be prepared for an experience!

Overall Rating : 8
Love the looks....love the tone....hated dealing with fatdog...would I buy another one from him...maybe. But only if I didn't think I could find another tone monster hollowbody for under $1000.
