old tuners, old electronics, old (thick neck), old and quite cool pearloid finish, old, old old...but very classy and nice. My guitar was made in 1952, I believe, and the volume and tone knobs seem backwards. The neck is straight and the pickup sounds great. The wood bridge/saddle deal ensures that a change of strings becomes an adventure. Overall this is a really really good instrument though.

It is a blues guitar. It is a bit noisy and non-distinct compared to my old Kay and Danelectros, but it is a great American guitar. Blues is what it does and it rocks at it.

The pearloid body and black neck have an aesthetic that is unmatched. The neck is pretty thick, though. I would not say it is "too thick" but I would say it makes me feel like my hands are small. The neck articulates with the body of the guitar in a weird and seemingly vulnerable fashion. I guess it is okay since it has last for so long.

old, old, old and trusted. The neck/body connection seems screwy, but it works. Strap buttons work and I think it will last another 50 years.

I love this machine. It looks really cool, though smallish. I would recommend it to any blues player.

1954 Supro Ozark, solid body, one neck pickup p90 :-)built for blues.
Short neck, lightweight axe. Wooden bridge that emphasises the warm wood tone. Simple business mans axe. turn everything up and let her purr.

Suits my style - I'm into new blues - white stripes, black keys, jon spencer, stone roses and old - small faces, who, hendrix.
I'm running through a marshall mosfet 100 watt stack with 2 4x12 cabs one of which is a bass cab to give a nice low end. It buzzes a little when near certain electrical appliances but is acceptable.
The guitar has a rich bluesy tone, similar to that of a 335 on the bridge pickup but with out the unwanted feedback. Really twangy if you strike the strings hard and slow, really dirty when you dial in some fuzz for a rich distorted tone. I really crank this for solo's and it sounds like my amp is melting - the p90's really sing at volume. Doesnt have the tinny cutting tone of a Tele but if you like a warmer tone this is ideal.

Action is medium, but then again great considering this was made in 1954 and has no truss rod! I prefer guitars with a little character that challenge you to play them.

I gig this guitar. Its 18 years older than me and is still holding up beautifully. The finish is coming away but not seriously, I prefer the battered look anyway ( not on birds though ). I depend on her but always have a backup - for slide tunings in any case.

I've been playing for 14 years, own a telecaster and a tanglewood chicago. If it were lost or stolen I'd would miss the plop out of her but I probably would check out some rare guitar's and saw what comes up. If you are into vintage guitars with character you have to wait and see what comes along. I might stick a kill switch on her.
