Made in Japan by the Suzuki Violin Company.
It looks like it has a spruce top, and body is stained dark brown.
The neck does have a truss rod also, which suprised me for a old acoustic guitar.
Really soild built.

I write and play my own songs, this guitar has a really "loud" sound to it.
It also has a very "low end" to it. I replaced the ball nylon strings with silk and steel folk strings.. I wouldn't put all steel strings on it, because it is a folk guitar.
The only thin that I don't like about this guitar, is that the neck is slightly bowed, that is a pretty normal thing to find on used and un cared for acoutic guitars.

This guitar is really solid, it is very well made, I think the guitar was made in the late 60's - early 70's..
Plats really well, sounds really awesone when fingerpicked.

I can really depend on this guitar, I sometimes bring it as a back up when I play out.
It really sounds nice when mic'ed.

I give this guitar a rating of 10, the main reason is that whoever had the guitar before didn't take good care of it over the years, yet it only has a slight bow in the neck. I ussually tune this guitar in a D tunning.... that makes more of the low end comes out, but makes the high fret board easier to play.
I really love this guitar. Very nice tone.
Find one, buy it!

I play nylon strings - and wanted to make an experiment with the acoustic guitar, so I have no big experience in this type of sound. I
compared this instrument in guitar shop to some Fender and Yamaha models for around 400 - 600$ and I was positively surprised - old Suzuki was surviving competition without any problems (though I must admit I do not know which strings were on the guitars in shops). Sounds good an rich in particular while playing louder.

Taking into account the age of this guitar, the reliability and durability deserve high mark.
