I guess it was made in the early 1970s in the same factory Burny/Fernandes guitars were build. So it's a japanese lawsuit-type 1:1 copy of a Gibson Les Paul Custom.
It has the same features as the original:
22 frets, curved top, toogleswitch, volume and toneknobs for each humbucker, all mahagony and black or sunburst polyester lacquer.
I still use the original non-locking tuners and they are still like new ones, except for their aged look.
The original neck was broken but a good friend put a neck made of Ovangkol (same as Framus uses) into it. The original profile was between the fat and slim taper neck. The fretboard seems to be made of rosewood but it's pretty dark like ebony.
The name and the symbol on the headstock is made of real mother of pearl. (SEE PICTURES LINKED IN OVERALL RATING)

Sound : 9
I'm playing Rock/Hard Rock/Instrumental and this Les Paul screams like hell. I realy love the bassy sound of the neck humbucker and I use it for clean or fast stuff. Using both pickups you can get this "Sweet Home Alabama" sound and it's pretty good for clean stuff too. With the bridgehumbucker you can rock the hell out of any amp.
When I'm playing higain stuff the bridgehumbucker starts to squeal, but I think I'll just have to rewax it and it'll be fine again.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I cannot tell you anything about Action, Fit and Finish because I bought it used and changed alot of parts.

Reliability/Durability : 8
This guitar is ready to rock, but you have to handle her carefully .. She's an old but great lady.
The tuners are pretty good, though...

Customer Support : No Opinion
You cannot get any information about vintage Suzuki guitars out of Suzuki Co ... But that's ok, because there are not many guitars out there !

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 5 years now and I've played a lot of guitars including Epiphone und Gibson. None of them sounded like my Suzuki but that's properbly because of the neck made of Ovangkol instead of Mahagony... You can have alot of fun with this guitar but it'll be hard for you to get one of these ^^
I realy love the fast neck. None of the testet Les Pauls had an unfinished neck except the Zakk Wylde Signature but my neck was faster and sounded far better than the maple neck.
You can see all of my Suzuki Les Paul pictures that I collected over the years here:

(You'll find pics of other Suzuki's in the ebay folder)
