22-fret strat copy, made in Japan. It's exactly like a strat with three single -coil pickups. The neck is medium sized, maple with a good-looking rosewood fretboard.

The tuning machines are not the best quality. I might replace them.

Excellent strat-like sound. The sound is way better than a Squier strat. The guitar is comparable to a MIM strat, but I don't know, I like the feel of it better. Maybe it's a bit heavier or the neck has a different feel.

I had a tech set the guitar up for me after I bought it (I bought it used, and it had not been taken care of all that well!)

After set-up, the action and intonation are perfect.

The neck pocket is tight as hell. I don't use tremolo, so I had the tech tighten it down. It didn't need to be blocked, and the bridge is stable. It stays in tune, and

Solid as a rock! Thick finish, nice heavy weight. Seems reliable.

Can't find a thing about the company anywhere...I mean, I can find the Suzuki company, but I don't see anything about guitars!

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for 10 years, and I also own a '52 reissue Telecaster as well as a Gibson SG. I play a lot of different styles, and I like to be able to keep different guitars strung with different gauge strings to get different sounds. I go to Guitar Center a lot and play guitars, and I'm not usually impressed with guitars in the $300 to $400 range. This guitar came along, I checked it out, and I was REAL IMPRESSED! Easily worth the money.

I'm not sure what year this guitar was made i bought it used in '02 for $375 The guitar was/is in mint... just as new condition. The previous owner bought it on a whim just to say she owns one... but never played it... or any guitar. I'm pretty sure it was made in Japan. It has 22 frets; Solid top; 3 single coil pickups; a floating bridge& whammy; 1 volume knob; 2 tone knobs; and a 5 way selector. My guitar has a white finish with a white pick-gaurd. Its a strat body style. Non locking tuners made of metal that do the job well. It has medium frets, on a rosewood neck.

Sound : 9
I'm somewhat of a moderate player, but my friends (who grew up as a family band traveling the world) got their hands on this guiter and absolutely love it. They say it is better than their more pricier familiar named guitars (no name bashing on what I think are great guitars). They have different electrics for their many different styles, eg: Metal, Classical, Jazz, Flemanco, Rock, Dance, etc... They own 7 different guitars in all for the different styles. They say this guitar does it all quite nicely. In fact, for local gigs, they ask if they could use my guitar --- That say's a lot.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
When I first got it, it was a little noisy. But after my friends made a few adjustments for me... WOW. If it had come to me that way, I would have given it a 9.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is solid. Definately not for whimps.

If you can find them, let me know.

Overall Rating : 10
This is a good all around guitar. Maybe a little rough for the beginner, and not quite refined enough for the professional. However, if you want a solid guitar with good all around sound at a great price, I would recommend it.

Im not sure what year this guitar was made i bought it in 99 so not that old. Im pretty sure it was made in Japan. It has 22 frets. Solid top. 1 volume knob. 2 tone knobs. and a 5 way selector. standard strat stuff. I has 3 single coil pickups. Im not sure what kind of wood its made of. Mine has a black finish with a black pick gard. Its a strat body style. Non locking tuners nothing fancy but there metal so they do the job good. It has medium frets, on a rosewood neck.My only complaint with the neck is that it does have some bad fret buzz. it came with a good solid guitar case.

When i bought this guitar i was just starting out and really didnt know what to look for. now that i know a bit about guitars, i would say that this is a good solid middle of the road guitar. It has that classic strat sound, with a nice price tag. Sound generaly is bright, which really doesnt suit my tastes anymore. I drop d tune it alot and it sounds pretty good. No pickup buzz that i can tell. you can play pretty much everything with this guitar. really nice value.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
FRET BUZZ. FRET BUZZ. FRET BUZZ. it takes awhile to get use to and is a real anoyance but after you practice with it for a bit you can overcome it most of the time. all the electronics seem like there solid and in place. not much else i can say about that. its a nice solid guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Its built like a tank. nothing on this guitar feels crappy at all. real nice.

Where the hell are they!

Overall Rating : 8
Its a good solid guitar. If i knew what i know now i think i prob. would have put down a little extra just for the fender name. i would recomend it for beginners and someone wanting a solid guitar for a good price. the pickups really dont suit my style anymore. but if your just wanting to mess around with a guitar. this is for you.

my guitar is a Suzuki M. Its is an electric which resembles a red 62 fender strat, its strat body and dark stained fretboard. The bridge and head stock however differe ofcoarse. this guitar has a good sound and comes with a floating bridge& whammy ,two tone dials, a five way pickup witch and non locking standard tuners . I had to angle the pickups though to my personal preference of sound but the way it came it had a good sound. My uncle who usually only plays taylors and fenders said my Suzuki played great. I think so to, ofcoarse the amp is half of it though and how you play, you can make a Lespaul sound bad if you cant play. but I can and this is a great guitar

Sound : 9
this guitar is great for metal and just flat out rock, hell its just got a good all around sound any way you slice it. It even sounds good clean

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
my pick ups werent set up for the best sound when i got it and when you set the pick up switch for just the rear pick up theres some play, after i re did the pickups it sounded great but as stock id give it a 6

Reliability/Durability : 9
this guitar is definaltey a good hardy guitar to play with gigs. I played a few shows with this guitar and it really holds up. its done well for the grunge style i play.

i cant find a damn thing about the company but this guitar is good so id like to find the suzuki guitar website to see where my model fits in with the rest.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 3 years and i use a 15 inch Crate amp /Trans .

the Suzuki M has a good sound on distorion and clean equally, so..... I cant really say. i like the feel of the fretboard but I never adjust the fret board i like a worn in feel> however unlike a Fender you cant adjust the rod in the neck its capped off at the head.
