Bought new old stock,200euro.It had been lying around in a shop's basement for all its live. Some very view scratches, elsevise as new. Pickups and knobs aged yellowed, scratchplate still white.(why?)
Big, slightly different (but more than pleasing shape) 70's stratstyle headstock.Finish on neck nicely aged amber.
Decal reads Suzuki super sounds ,brazen picker professional, hand made, made in Japan On neckplate. Very nice super sraight grained, slighty figured maple neck, fretboard and 3 (4?) piece body. All woods
really good quality, body not bookmached. Trad. strat shape and pickup config. A nice thing about the electronics is the blaster preamp-booster (9v) which is in place of the jackplate.
The tuners and tremolo are of cheaper quality. The Tuning machines are making your finger bleed ,they won't stay in tune and are horrible to turn.Ouch! The tremolo has no steelblock . There's a C shaped metal to where the springs and strings are attached. Stringing is not easy ,but i think that the lightness of the unit makes
the sound more airy (i will not change it). It came with the ashtray on the tremolo ..supercool..! Extensive pitchchanges over 1 semitone is to avoid. I will change the tuners anyway and this will surely help a lot. The maplebody is finished in darkreddishbrown to golden yellow,
all over transparent ,this makes the nice wood even nicer. The neck has a thicker c shaping and is slightly narrower allover compared to standardstrt. Actually the stringspacing at the nut is a bit too narrow (No difficult open cords here). The fretends are beveled too much, but action is lowww.
standart F scale length. It's a cool guitar ..
Because of tuners ,fretends and nut only 7

"Jazz"/Reggae/Funk/Folk/Electro is were im moving. Used to play semi and fullacoustics. I own a '75 Ibanez 2455 which i love, and a 60's german Bill Lawrence semiacousic he has build himself. Hardly ever use distortion. There has been a lot of slabboard electrics in my live
and liked none of them. Never got used to the thin sound in a clean amp setting. And because i fu** around with the computer a hollowbody gives a richer sound than a solidbody. On livesettings i play thru a Farfisa TR-70 which is haevy. Lately i started useing a small 10" soldano craaft 30 tubeamp, cool amp. Effects:-Git> volume-delay-Wah >Amp. I bought the Suzuki because it looks sooo sweat and cool. But when i pluged it in ... ..this guitar sounds as good as it looks...an solidbody i really like. I strung it up with 12's roundwound which might be a bit hefty, will try 11's, i promise. The sound is stratish ,but has more live to it than what i've heard from other sta**. The sound has some woody portion its warmer. But thru the bridgepickup the sound is bright and clear. Best it sounds middle-front and middle-brige-slightly trebles slightly rolled off.
jazzy-surfy sound. The little build in booster is nice for switching between rythm an solo playing ,but will work for distortion if the output setting is put higher. It is possible to set the outputlevel of the booster via screwdriver. The D and G string are a bit lower in volume. The Pickups have no adjusted polepieces. I cutted a screw into
small portions and superglued them onto the polepieces underneath the
D and G string.(it helped)
The only thing again is the stupid string spacing at the nut. Elsewise super sounds...

No idea about the factory setup.
The neckpocket is not the most accurate (handmade Ha,Ha!!) but the neck sits secure in place. The finish is absolutely fine .The sunburst is a real
eyecatcher. Because the action is low i think frets had been finished nicely. Still a couple of frets have lifted up between the 14th and last fret, causing buzz ,but is easily fixed. The fretends have been beveled too much, that limits possible the stringspacing at the nut. The wood quality is really fine on the neck and body. Through the darkreddish sunburst painted sides i can see the grain going straight from top to bottom and partly has a nice quilt. The body is not bookmatched but the glueline is only visible at a certain light direction. The Neck is really strong, is straight as an arrow with no strings but it will gain no upbow with light strings. With my 12's strings i get just enough upbow to tighten the rod a bit.

I belive that it will withstand a heavy roadwork.
The finish is thin ,but i rather like it sing than stuffed under finish. I never take a backup on stage ;all or nothing at all.
The tuners and nut have to be changed.....deffenetly......!
