I bought this second hand in 1983 for about IR#100 (approx $200) From Dempseys Music Salon in Dublin.
It is a left-handed model which has a spruce (I think)top and mahogany sides and back. The Edges of the body are outlines by a nice off white stripe with thin black stripe detail. The neck I think may be rosewood.
The fret board has mother of pearl inlay in double rhombus/diamond shapes.
The Scratch plate features a white dove and some red rose type flowers with green leaves on a black background.
The bridge is adjustable up and down.

The sound from this guitar is amazing given its cheap price and I have never been tempted to buy another acoustic. It is consistently admired and highly rated by friend in the music scene in Ireland.

The action was set a little high when I bought it but was adjusted with ease when I got it home, and has never really needed to be adjusted again. I did replace the saddle some years ago and found the action to be too high - I just pared the saddle down with a file and I've been happy since.

I have gigged this guitar more times than I care to remembver in the past 20 years and it has never let me down. It has been dropped, knocked over, kicked, sat upon - all those nasty things that other people do to your baby - but still sounds great!!THe neck has no no twists, warps or nay othe problems, and the body and bridge are also fine.
My one and only quibble with it is that the machineheads are coming a bit loose. I have reset them once or twice, but the screw holes are worn away and the screws cant gain enough grip to hold. Once the strings are on and at full tension everythings OK but changing the strings can be a bit tricky. Still I suppose after 20 years I could fork out on a set of new machineheads for it.

No Opinion
Never had to deal with the company - 'Kiso-Suzuki Violin Co. Japan', and I believe they dont do guitars any more.
