Think this was a 2004 model. Lame name, but otherwise guitar seemed pretty decent.

Pickups were swapped out as they are typical Korean Generic pickups with Swings name. Nothing great, not terrible.

Fit and Finish was decent, actually amazed at how they can do a veneer quilt top not much thicker than card stock without sanding through. Looks cool but would have liked a thicker top.

This is where the guitar lived up to it;s name BLOW. Should have been BLOWS!!!! The wood between the neck pocket and neck hum is minimal since this is a 24 fret guitar. With zero abuse and a combination of time and tension in the pocket because the neck was set seated properly in the pcket, the wood cracked at opposite sides of the pocket. Once the neck was removed for repair the whole chunk came out offer no stop for the back of the neck. Just an open area to the neck humbucker. I had a repairman locally fix this with heavy duty epoxy, but no guarantee of permanent hold. These guys need to re-design this badly. Just crappy engineering.

Pretty damn poor here. WHY????? No US dealers, I've seen these guys at NAMM for years. I contacted a guy named Torin at Music Consulting Group, that handles artist stuff, but he's independent of Swing, so he recommended I contact the factory in Korea. Attempting to get info from the factory in Korea is a joke, especially with the language issues.

No dealers, no support for warranty issues. I recommend sticking with guitars that offer support. These guys are clueless.

This is a High End Korean guitar. It's a double cutaway guitar that would looks similar to a Jackson. It's an Alder Body with a Quilt Maple Top. The neck is a 24 fret maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The Pickups are Swing Humbucker pickups. (Hum/Hum). What's really cool is the Schaller 5-way trick switch for different pickup options. The hardware is all top notch. It has Sperzel Trim-Lok Tuners with a Gotoh Wilkinson Bridge. What's really great is the truss rod adjustment spoke wheel. Instead of the adjustment being at the headstock where you would remove a cover and find the right allen wrench etc.. Swing did this right. It's a spoke wheel adjustment at the end of the neck. Very similar to the Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang where you can quickly adjust the tension rod with a twist of the wheel. You can use a thin screwdriver or allen etc. Anything that is skinny enough to fit into the spoke holes wiil work. The guitar came with a SKB case.

Very versatile guitar. The pickups have a really nice sound. Combined with the different options with the Schaller switch you can mimick just about any guitar from a Les Paul to a Strat, Tele etc.

A lot of the Korean guitars still have room for improvement as far as fit & finish goes. I think the best I've seen so far is the Brian Moore i-Series guitars. Swing has nailed this. The fit & finish are excellent on this guitar. Fret work especially. I always look at the fret work first. I feel if someone takes the time and pride to do good fretwork, you will usally see quality work elsewhere. This is the case with Swing. It came set up from the factory, and it was right on the money.

I've had the guitar for over a month. I've really enjoyed playing it. No problems thus far. Looks like it's built to last.

Any questions I've had for the factory have been answered promptly given the time difference. Korea is 17 hours ahead of California.

Overall a great guitar. They also have other models that are basically various strat configurations. What impresses me the most is the attention to detail as well as the quality parts & other hardware. From Sperzel to Schaller, Gotoh etc they don't cut any corners. The playability and tone is great. I'd recommend a Swing guitar with no reservation.
