Somewhat Strat-like body with what they call neck-thru design but it is actually molded 1-piece vibracell which I suppose is some sort of polymer blend. Sounds like mahoghany or real close. HSH pickup configuration with 1 tone 1 volume using 500k pots but they are the smaller dime sized instead of full size, 5-way switching with a Floyd Rose licensed trem. and locking nut, non-locking (of course) Grover tuners, what they call a RED humbucker in both the bridge and neck and a Switchmusic designed single in the middle. Pickups are 4 wire but the possiblity of tap coil is not utilized either by mini-tobbles, push-pull pots or even in the 5-way, they are humbuckers even in 2 and 4 positions so the single adds 60 cycle hum. 60 cycle hum is no worse than an Am. Standard Strat though. Humbuckers are excellant, good bite and harmonics and only get muddy on high gain and not bad then. Finish is nice with HQ fit and finish, the one I got was Satin Oxblood and looks nice but was a let down when 1st received, was hoping for a flashier look like it was. I called Switch and they said the neck was a 16 inch radius but it feels more like a 12 to me. Plays nice though. Neck shape is a deeper C than a Mex Strat and a little narrower.

Sound : 9
This guitar would surprisingly work with just about any style with the right amp settings. Clean the pickups are clear and crisp and with distortion you can get about any metal sound you wantand anything in between. They are a bit cutting though so don't expect Duncan quality but they are some of the best Stock pickups I've heard. I mostly use it with a Vox AD50 or Hughes Kettner and various pedals from DOD Boss Danelectro Digitech and a Berhinger V-Amp. It can handle Satriani styles very nicely. Wish the company had spent 5 bucks more for some mini toggles to tap the humbuckers, I'll do that later.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Finish is flawless but the brochure I ordered it from is quite different (better) than the actual guitar. Everything was adjusted near perfect, just a little buzz on the low E string. Frets could have been dressed a little better but that's pretty picky.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Seems to be very solid. Time will tell. Everything appears dependable but always have a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Been playing off and on for 30 years pretty regular for the last 5-6. Only real complaint was the let down in the appearance, wish I had seen it before ordering. Even with that I'd prob replace it if it ran off. Wanted the HSH and Floyd and this was the only model they had with those features. I also have the Switch Wild IV Signature and that one is a step above this. Happy overall though.
