This is my new guitar. 1998, brand new baby, yeah!! :> Made in China. A lot of other people have just said 'Strat copy' here, so I'd like to go into the features a little further. It's got 21 frets, rosewood fingerboard and maple neck. Solid body. 3 pickups, 5-way pickup selector switch, two tone and one volume control. It has tremolo and chrome hardware and a Floyd Rose bridge. Passive electronics. Non-locking tuners. Neck is narrow but not to narrow, it's really good for me since I'm a girl with small hands. Headstock has six pegs on the leading edge (duh, it's a Strat). Finished in black, with a white pickguard and chrome strap buttons. The guitar came with a non-padded gig bag, strap, guitar cable, a pick, 2 allen wrenches, and 2 extra high e-strings. Amp was sold separately.

Okie, it sounds good. I'm no guitar-playing expert, I've only been playing about 3 months, but I'm into guitars a lot. This guitar sounds like a Strat and it plays like one. It can sound like anything you want. It's not a noisy guitar, at least not through the amp I'm using (which is the 15-watt Synsonics amp, nice little thing though the plug won't stay in just like everyone said it wouldn't). I for one like it.. it's my first electric and it's well worth the price I paid, cuz I'm gonna be able to do a lot with it. It's not like an Ernie Ball/Music Man, but for the price you can't expect that. It sounds like a good guitar and it is.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Pickups were adjusted fine.. action's good, the only thing wrong with the guitar was that it was really out of tune due to the strings being set very loose (fixed that). The finish is *gorgeous* very thick, black, flawless. The neckplate has a small scratch on the metal, but who cares. The pickguard is cheesy. Cheap, soft white plastic, you can scratch it with your fingernail. I'm gonna get that replaced soon, though. Other then that the guitar was perfect. Is perfect in fact.. heck you can see yourself in the finish :>

This thing is SOLID. Heavy as heck. You could whack it on someone's head and not make a dent (don't do it though.. thing's heavy enough you might kill them). Hardware's gonna last forever, you know cuz it's chrome. Finish is thick, thick.. I dunno about it holding up cuz I don't intend to get one scratch in that smooth black.. it's like glass. But it looks really thick, you tap it with a finger it sounds like enamel. Strap buttons are like rocks. Dunno about gigging with the guitar cuz I'm not that good of a player yet to be in a band.. I do cover songs in the privacy of my home, hehe.. It rocks though. Great guitar I trust it.

It's got a 90 day warranty after you buy it.. gives the number to call for customer support and an address to mail the warranty to. Haven't had to try them yet, don't think I'll need them. This is one solid guitar.

Been playing 3 months.. I also have an acoustic (Epiphone Entrada). Other gear? I have the Synsonics amp that's it.. wanna get a bigger amp soon though. I have to say I love this guitar. It sounds beautiful. It looks beatiful. Black body like glass and the neck is cream-colored maple with the rosewood fingerboard and they're finished real light so you can see and feel the grain of the wood. With the chrome hardware and the white pickguard, the contrast is simply gorgeous. It looks like a real rock guitar. It SOUNDS like a real rock guitar. It is a real rock guitar and I love that. I wouldn't change anything, I just love it to death :> Heck yeah if it was stolen I'd track the guy down and kill him with it!!! If I broke it doing that (perish the thought) I'd buy another in a flash. It's just great. I can't say that enough. It rocks. And the price?? sheesh I'd buy two more if my dad would let me :> One bad thing, though, is that the carry bag isn't padded. It won't protect the guitar from dents or chips if I bang it around. It'll keep it clean though which is good. As for the rest of the stuff, the guitar cord looks fine, the pick is a pick, but the strap is kinda crummy. I wouldn't trust it to hold up too long. Other then that, I'm way happy with my deal.

The synsonics pro series is pretty much another generic strat, 21 frets, 3 pickups, 5-way pickup selector, volume knob, two tone knobs... considering the price, I give it a ten.

My Synsonics Pro sounds great! The one thing that needs to be done as soon as possible, however, is to replace the strings. What is that, a 6 set? They break way too easy at that gauge. I replaced the strings with Fender 9's, and since that it sounds beautiful. I've played many an expensive guitar, and though this cheap thing comes in last, it's a bargain and a close runner up.

I have no complaints on the build of my guitar. Nothing's loose, the finish is fine... my only complaint is the amp. It's got some power for a $100 Sam's Club deal (Guitar and Amp), but the adapter is silly. I've not been playing long, but I've noticed few amps use a power transformer. And this one does keep falling out. And for those who have complained about buzzing on the first fret... learn something about your guitar and RAISE THE SADDLES. (Them thingies on the bridge that go up and down to set the action how you like it). Morons. :)

This guitar's taken some punishment and I trust it. The factory strings break immediately. The guitar cable also falls apart quickly, but it's easily replaced. I think I'd worry about the cord falling from the amp, were I to play a gig with it. In which case I think I'll grab a new amp tomorrow...

It's a great starting guitar. I can hardly feel the difference from a Fender. I'm suprised at the quality on this cheezer. If you're short on funds and want to play, buy one. Replace the strings! And tape the amp cord...

This guitar came fully loaded with 21 frets, 1 volume control, 2 tone controls, a toggle switch (5 settings), 3 single coil pickups, and a wrench and some extra high e strings. It's a perfect copy of the popular Fender Strat, even better in my opinion.
Sound

It's an excellent piece of work, no doubt about it. It gets a crisp, defined sound, even when your running it into some really heavy distortion. I like to play a lot of heavy metal, and hard rock, and this guitar does it all. Even when I'm not playing those types, it can put out great blues tones. I recommend this for any type of playing imaginiable, because it can do it all. I run it through a Danelectreo Fab Tone pedal, and that into a Chet Atkins Tub Amp, and the sound really kicks! I got the practice amp with it, and that's a great little amp until you can afford one with more kick in it.

The pickups were perfectly aligned, neck was well adjusted, parts chrome plated to stay that way. I couldn't find a single flaw with this guitar.

The hardware's going to last until after I'm long gone. It was built to last, something that's hard to find in a non-brand name guitar. The black, smooth finish was thick, and even after I put a small dent in it accidentaly the paint job held and covered it up nicely. Strap buttons are very solid. It's taking a lot of beating from me, playing it hard and fast, and it's withstood that assualt. You can bet your @$$ that I would play with that at a gig without a backup.

This guitar is a perfect replica of the Fender Strat, and it plays just as good, even better in my opinion. Just because you don't hear a lot about Synsonics dosen't mean they can't put out a good guitar. If you want quality that will provide you with a lifetime of fun and excitement, and are willing to have a "no-name guitar", this one is a good investment. Besides, for the exact same thing, you can get this one about $500 cheaper than a Fender.

In my opinion its a great guitar. but there is one minor detail like when i play on 1st fret it makes funny buzzing noise . but all in all its fairly descent its not one for a whole lot of distortion bbut if you crank up the amp that came with it you can get a shit load of it but it has to be all the way up with overdrive on Amp: The amp suck total D*CK the cord in back to plug in falls out *all the time* the sound isn't all that great but the guitar on a BIG Peavy amp sounds spectacular!

Nothing ever really was wrong with it exept that the tremo arm is bent and the jack to plug the guitar in comes loose every so often

Its a very reliable guitar the strap buttons are fastened on good they've come loose once in one year i tightened them with a screw driver and that was the end of that

Made in Korea. 21 frets. Volume, tone, tone. S/S/S Stock pickups. Passive electronics. Strat style body. Wilkinson type trem. Non locking tuners. Hold in place real well though. Rosewood fingerboard. Bolt through neck. Comes with cable, extra high E strings, allen wrench.
It came with a two channel 15 watt solid-state amp, that is pretty good.
Sound

Suits every style around. Sounds great for punk, rock, alternative, any kind of metal, and clean channel stuff too. Rich, full, and bright sound. Just depends on the pickup(s) selected. Only noisy with one pickup on. If two are on (neck, mid) (bridge, mid) they are like a humbucker. I use a Mosvalve 300w tube amp that kicks ass, and it all just kicks ass bigtime!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action's great. Pickups are awesome. You can really tell the difference in the pickups (from neck to bridge). Only flaw I saw was some sawdust by stuck in the bridge, but got it out easy. This is one hell of a guitar. Its as good as, if not better than a Fender Strat.
Reliability/Durability

Only problem I had was the input bolter thing-a-ma-jigger comin loose, put tighten it up with a wrench. The hardware will last forever. The guitar will last forever. The strap buttons are as solid as a rock. I'd use it on a gig as long as people could wait for me to change strings if I had to. The finish is smooth and durable.

Been playin' about a year. Own a Mosvalve RtT-2100 300 watt tube amp. I compared it to other guitars. They were too much for me a beginning guitarist. People say the floyd rose is so good-you can get a wrench to change strings or tune it. Mine stays in tune all the time due to its awesome tuning pegs. It sounds pretty good with the practice amp I got with it, but it sounds awesome with the TubeWorks Mosvalve. You can play any style. Sound just like Green Day, just like, BUSH, just like Metallica, just like what ever the hell you wanna play!
