Features : 8
The Guitar was made in 2009 in Brazil Since they're Handmade they're built to order.it has 27 wide rounded frets the type parker guitar's use, 1 volume knob and 1 tone push-pull knob to split the pickups, 3-way switch. It comes with a seymour duncan parallel axis on the bridge and a hot rails in the neck position.
the body is made of cedro wich they told me its sound oriented like mahogany maybe a little brighter, the neck is made of marupa wich is pretty much like maple and the fretboard is made of brazilian rosewood wich its a little darker almost ebony.
the finish its solid color on mine, white with pearl dust in it. the stock ones are silver pearl, white and black, but you can order any color you want they just need like 1 or 2 months to make it.
it's an RG style body but it as some cuts wich give it its own style it as an Gotoh floyd rose system, tuners, and locking nut. 25.5' scale.
and it came with a heavy tweed case.

Sound : 10
I Love to play any kind of music as long as it is well done, mainly metal styles. i play power metal maybe some prog metal, but i dont mind playing a little jazz, it suits the style well because it has high output pickups but they retain clearness, im using a Peavey JSX through a TC G major efects rack but the tc its just for extra eq i don't use effects, it drives nicely the tubes on the amp, and i dont really like totally the clean channel on the amp, if i split the pickups to single coil it actually sounds good, fender-ish clean,
i guess you can make a lot of different tones, because of the coil split option,
really like the sound so far

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
this is the part where it surprises me a lot!
the guitar was made in brazil and i live in california so its a hell diferent weather! but when it arrived it was in tune and the action was a low as it could get, i started to look for sharpened frets but they were all fine, i looked for everything wronkg i could think of! just for the sake of it, and i was surprised that i didn't find anything! i guess the luthiers in the company really do their job right, i think that's a good thing for the costumers because theyre getting a great quality instrument wich it's what your paying for!

Reliability/Durability : 9
the guitar as a good finish, not really tick but i know it wont come off with a bump like my ibanez prestige did.
the Gotoh Hardware has really high quiality the stablity on the bridge surprised me, no noisy hardware, and really dont need to tune it that often so i guess it passes on this category.
the strap buttons seem to be tight so far, i guess i can depend on it, i think its a workhorse even if it doesn't look like it, maybe it all depends on how much love the builders put in their jobs, ill would use it without a backup but i change guitars in the midle of the playlist anyways so i could use my ibanez RG7 if something happened like a string breaking off or something small

Customer Support : 8
well the best customer support its the one you dont need to use!
but to order the guitar in first place you need to speak directly to a sales person and they are very helpful because they give you a lot of options to choose from,
if it needs to get repaired at some point, i guess its gonna be hard because the factory is in brazil but i know they'll be willing to do the repairs

Overall Rating : 9
i've been playing for 10 years at this point, i also own an ibanez prestige 7 string and an RG7, they're all good guitars
if it was stolen i would get the ensurance money and buy another one, im really satisfied with the guitar, its really confortable and good quiality like all handmade instruments,
i love the versatility of the guitar wich i think its the cooles feature.
i recommend trying them!
its a little pricey but there's also some less expensive models with less features but the same quiality!
if You want one in the US you need to talk with Vernon Neily at Guitar Global.com he is an awsome guitar player and a really nice guy! and he is the dealer here in the states! he makes all the paperwork and talks to the company for you
