Standard Martin D45, 35 copy, dreadnaught. Martin type neck. I beleive the "S" indictates all solid wood. This model doesn't show up on any lists that I have seen. No fancy binding or inlay. One-piece neck

Fantastic! This guitar has just gotten better and better with age. Deep, round, and loud.

I have had some set up work done and the action is adequate but not great. Great for strumming; upper register stuff and low end barre chords are a bit of a pain.
Reliability/Durability

In 25 years never had a problem except a crack on the top where the two pieces of the soundboard are glued together. Was easily repaired. I have taken it to Europe twice and so it has survived numerous planes trips.

Great! If you see one of these or any of the other Tamas in good condition, buy it! They are quite rare, too.
